Thanks for the info! My date is July 25, 2011 and August 9, 2011 - ouch. Am I right in estimating that date is for the NOA2? I know it's just an estimate but still curious.

Vermont is slow but more predictable than California is right now, so I would say yes, that is near to an accurate estimate. They are currently running at about 6 months...but who knows, maybe they will speed up. Good luck.

That's great!! :dance: You have the same NOA1 as we do, we still can't see it. My fiance called once after we passed 30 days but they didn't really help him so today he will call again to put in a request with IT. May I ask what you wrote in the emails and how long did it take for them to fix it?

So Angelo just called them. He got put through to the second level and spoke to a very friendly and helpful officer who put in a request with IT right away and told him we should hear back by March 19 (which means that until then it should be fixed, I guess) :thumbs: If not, we should call back anytime. Phew, I hope we will be able to see it soon then!!

My name is __________and I am the petitioner for __________. I am petitioning for my fiancé _______ using the I-129F Petition for Alien fiancé. About one month ago I received my first Notice of Action 1 and I received a receipt number, but have been unable to look at my case status online because it says that my case cannot be found. I tried calling the National Customer Service Center and they have generously answered questions for me regarding my case, but have been unable to provide me assistance with my receipt number. I am writing this letter hoping that I may get my receipt number, so that I can view my case online. I thank you for your time and consideration in advance.

Hi everyone!

Hamilton and I are trying to wait patiently but we keep making more and more wedding arrangements, and fear the worst!! (Needing to cancel and rebook our location, caterer, DJ, etc).

The good news is, we have our location booked for 11/11/11, we found our caterer, and our DJ!

I'm really hoping and praying for the best, and things dont get set back... but I dont like what everyone is saying about processing times getting pushed back! NO GOOD

However, I just went on uscis, and i am still seeing 5 months as the processing time for VSC!

Oh, and does anyone know if it is possible to pay extra money to expedite the process?

11/2010 - got engaged

1/03/2011 - TSC recieved

We are not making any plans. She gets here when she gets here. Vermont seems to be going at 6 mo. now, so going to the courthouse is very appealing.

But this will be no. 2 marriage for both of us, so easy and quick is the wish.

And the waiting goes on....

8/31/11 Interview (Approved with two pieces of paper needed)

10/03/11 POE Cincinnati (Thanks to Delta now Atlanta) 5 hours to pick her up is worth it.

From what I've read being touched or not makes no difference what so ever in your case or if it's going to be fast or slow, people get a NOA2 sometimes without being touched. And for you to be expedited you need to prove that you have real reasons to get an expedite, so No, money will not make your process go any faster.

I think november is a reasonable time frame from now and approval, but every case is different. I hope nothing happens, but you could even get an RFE on your fifth month making things go even slower. My advice, do not give out any money to anybody until you are sure you can rely on a date.

Chris and I are planing a Texan Garden Wedding, we have lots of ideas an my soon to be mother in law is helping a lot. We will have most of it "looked" at so when I get there it's all a lot easier, but we do not plan on giving a date until we can actually count on one.
