Thanks for fixing my name (error) TwoCats. After fixing it the second time (from putting our name on a shorter list) I notice I used our old username but didnt have the time to change it again. lol Sometimes late at night my brain is in a fog. :lol:

Yeah!!! We received our email notification of NOA 1. We have been sent to CSC. Weird that we got the email at 11:16pm on a holiday. I am so curious how their notification process works. Just waiting for the paper so we can update our timeline. I feel relieved, but now the long or hopefully not so long haul has begun.

Great News!!!! We received our NOA1 visa text message and e-mail. Weird we got two of each..... Kinda cool with the text message, it came through at 1:18am on todays date 1/18/2011. Feels great to have this process actually started with a file number. Good Luck to the rest of you. I'm sure it wont be much longer before you get your notification.

Hey y'all! Me too I'm a January 2011 filer!! Well, we were supposed to be November or December 2010 filers, but had bad luck with the change in the petition fee which magically changed without prior notice a day before we mailed it. Sooooooo got it back in the mail January 7th, refiled with correct fee January 8th and got NOA1 January 10th.

A NOA1 in two days? Now that's fast...We are hoping to get it in the next couple days!

It is "only" the NOA1 email, not the hardcopy. But, I imagine this is the official NOA1 date as that's what it says also on the USCIS website when I check our status with the receipt number. Or maybe Im wrong?

They had gone through our petition December 1st 2010 (we had stamps dated December 1st on each piece of paper in the package) and said they would push it to the front of the line to be mailed to Vermont as soon as they would get the correct fee.

Hey! All your plans sound great. I just wanted to give you a heads up... In Guatemala the police reports etc, have an expiration date of 6 months. Probably want her to see if it's the same at her Country, you never know!.

Thanks for the heads up. Definitely will check on this. Many things to keep track of as it only takes one little thing to delay everything. I also have to research to see if her medical exam can be done in her home town, as she lives 4 hour plane flight from Moscow and all the doctors they list on the website are there. Bad enough that is where the interview must take place, but to have to go for dr exam too, I really hope that is not the case.

We got the email last night too and have been forwarded to Vermont. I hope the hard copy finds Matt as he gets possession of his house in Texas on the 27th. Congrats to all who have some news and let's hope the ball starts rolling for everyone asap!

Okay.

I think I updated everyone's service centers to what they've reported.

I didn't add NOA1 dates for most people since it depends on having a hardcopy or access to the online status to see the date they received your package. The date you get the e-mail/text is NOT your NOA1 date. It's probably either the day your package arrived at the lock box, or the next day after that.

When you know for sure what your NOA1 date is (either through hardcopy or online status) please feel free to post it!

Personally, I'm still waiting on getting access to the online status for our case. Have any of you who got sent to CSC been able to check yours yet? Not too worried about it just yet. The last time I went through this process, it took about two weeks to get in the system online.

P.S. With others reporting in the weird times they got their notifications, I am pretty certain it's just some automated process run in the evening.
