Here's the finalized version of the kitties with celtic hearts.

Speaking of celtic designs, my engagement ring is basically this ring, except it has the heart in the middle taken out and the two sides of the knotwork brought together in the middle. Then, they filled in the center area and put a stone setting there.

i love both the kitties and the ring

So, the last part of my surprise..is a video. I have been working on taking a English song that she loves and creating a video with our pictures during our time together. I plan on posting it later today so she has the weekend to enjoy it. Here it is for those that would like to see it.

Just think guys...last Valentines we will be away from our future spouse!!!! kicking.gifkicking.gif

great video! i'm sure she'll like it!

OK, so I know I am probably a little late on saying what I did for Valentines day...but I did not want the surprise found. At this point, most of the surprise she knows about...the other part she will shortly, so it is OK.

So, back in December I sent a package to her thinking it would get there before I left on January 9th. It did not and was part of Christmas...ughhh! Anyways, I learned from that and so when I got back, I quickly picked up and shipped to her part of her Valentines. I say part because, well I could not put all my eggs in one basket, or in this case package just in case it did not get there in time. So anyways, here is what was in the package.

I got her a heart filled with chocolates, as she loves chocolates. The heart looked kinda like a tear and was pretty cool. I got a picture frame that said "Love" on it, and put one of our pictures in it. Got a heart pillow and a blanket that had many great things on it, including "I love you", "Together 4ever", "XOXO", and many others. So I bundled it all together in a bow and wrote a letter that tied together everything I got for her. She received the package yesterday and was VERY surprised!!

Now, to MY SURPRISE, on Monday I received a package. I opened it and wow, she had got for me (well and for her to) a wedding ring holder, with love birds. Here is a picture of it from Amazon... http://ecx.images-am...L500_AA300_.jpg Wow, was I surprised. Also I was surprised because she was off on Tuesday morning from work, and we normally do not get to video chat during the week, but were able too....VERY GREAT WEEK!!!

So, the last part of my surprise..is a video. I have been working on taking a English song that she loves and creating a video with our pictures during our time together. I plan on posting it later today so she has the weekend to enjoy it. Here it is for those that would like to see it.

Video is super, I want to make it by myself. I send Christmas presents 6 weeks in advance and got them on time. Then I decided to repeat success for Valentine’s Day. As soon as Valentine stuff was in store I bought 5 best looking to me items, few clothing items, photo book us together and a lot of chocolates (Lena is crazy about it also) and send it 6 weeks in advance. To my surprise she got it in 8 days. Russian post office is like Russian roulette;)

Welcome to the process, sandiego.

You probably want to check out the February filers thread, but you're welcome to stop in and ask questions of us if you want to. We don't mind visitors.

I'm considering replacing the wedding band I got for Kata with one that has celtic knotwork as well.

It is very nice kitties

Hi Sandra! Im also going to fly over to visit my fiancé in the US this Friday. I only have my return ticket, copy of NOA1 and a statement from my employer that Im expected back March 1st, and Im sure that is sufficient. Based on what Ive read, be prepared to answer questions but don't offer information - just like you said. And if you do get questioned I imagine it would be good to mention that you wouldn't have gone through the trouble of getting all the paperwork together and paying the fees if you were planning to immigrate illegally only a month after filing. Logical, don't you think? I don't think there will be problems if you have your return ticket ready and paid for, and since it's only a weekend trip  Im also planning to spend the summer (2-3 months) in the US with Josh waiting to get our NOA2, now that will be interesting to see what happens at POE if I get questioned... :o

11/30/2010 I-129F package sent

5/16/2011 NOA2

5/24/2011 Medical

5/27/2011 fly over to US, stay for 2 months

8/22/2011 Visa Interview in Helsinki

9/6/2011 Visa in hand

9/23/2011 PoE in Boston

12/2/2011 Marriage!

Happy Valentine's day to everyone.

And Happy Birthday to my Kata.

Haven't gotten to talk to him much since he's been up in Scotland with his family for the weekend.

Missing him more than I thought I would.

Anyways, happy start of a new week.

Did you guys have any luck calling them? I just tried calling that 800 number and I wasn't able to get anywhere. It just tells me that my case was not found. That's the same thing that the web page tells me. I think we are fine and just need to wait a little bit longer, but,,, I would feel a lot better if it didn't say 'not found'. DOH!!!

Well Angelo called them this morning and he spoke to a very nice lady who told him that they are having problems at both CSC and VSC to make online updates available to the public but they are working on it and we should be able to view it online soon. She also assured him that everything is OK with the case, they have it in their system but we simply can't access it yet. Hmpf.. :bonk:

Well I guess maybe I will do the same as TwoCats and write them an email in the next few days, that seemed to work apparently.
