That is cool. Interestingly enough, she has many different names. For the paperwork process while we listed all of them as alternate names, since her passport had Oxana on it, that is what is listed as her primary name. After the third day together I no longer called her Oksana, as there is a name with special meaning to her that I call her by. Did not realize this until a couple weeks ago how much meaning this name conveyed to her. I am special, as she considers anyone else calling her by this insulting!!! I am the only one allowed...yeaaa!

Oksna is coming from Ukraniyan name Ksenia witch means hospitable person in Greek.

My passport says Oxana also, but it can be spelled Oksana as well, it's all the same - at least it doesn't affect the spelling in Russian :)

Hello, everyone! hope you don't mind if i join the group of january filers :)

Hey, welcome!

I added you to our list of filers.

Sorry for not being on much the last two days, the storm caused a bunch of issues here in Chicago.

I noticed a few others who hadn't had NOA1 dates in our group list put up 02-01 dates, but I don't know if those were electronic e-mail dates or their actual NOA1s. So I'm leaving them on the list for right now.

I don't understand:

According to Igor's list they are sending about 20 NOA2s to list members. We are in position #540 so it should take 27 working days not a 5 to 6 moth.

Igors list is only data from members of this site. There are many many applications into each center that are not taken into account as this site is only a small fraction of the petitions they receive. Secondly, right now they probably are dedicating more resources to getting caught up, so this rate we are seeing may not last depending on if they get behind on some other type of application. I would love to see it sooner for everyone, do not get me wrong. Just do not get your hopes up of them getting to any January petitions before middle to end of April, at least. Current statistics from USCIS dashboard site suggest at least that, and likely May before our petitions will be looked at. They have a 5 month goal, I fully expect them to maintain that and dedicate resources accordingly, which means approvals in likely May and June for our group.
