:innocent: God knows what's best and there is a time for it to happen. That's what has kept me sane from being apart from my baby love. :blush: That and knowing that months are nothing compared to a lifetime together... he says it also! Might sound a bit cheesy but it's kept me going with a huge smile... I hope it lasts for the rest of the months xD !

We will all get what we want sooner than later... and it's great to have a support group that is going through the same thing we are... :D

06/05/2008 - I visit her in Germany, travel and stay together for 5 weeks. We hit it off big time

11/27/2008 - She moves in with me while I live and work in England on 2 year working VISA

08/03/2010 - 2 year working VISA expires, I move back to the States, sadly leave her behind in England

11/16/2010 - Fly her out to Paris and propose to her in front of Eiffel Tower. She says yes :)

Sent in my paperwork yesterday, Jan 15th. It will be there on Tuesday 18th due to MLK day. Waiting game now, and there are many things to focus on for me.

Making sure my fiancée and her oldest child have English classes, having her to work on getting police reports, medical figured out in advance that way we are not scrambling at the last minute. Get education transcripts translated and evaluated for placement of her children. Prepare the home for Oksana and her 2 daughters. Keeping an eye on when the paperwork gets sent to US embassy in Moscow so I can plan a trip to be there. They will not allow me in the interview, but I plan to be there with her a few days in advance, to help her be calm and provide more evidence to the consulate of how we wish to be together. With luck, she will be able to travel back with me, at least that is the plan. But not before returning to her home town for a per-wedding celebration with family and friends...then head to US.

Within a few weeks of being here, we will travel to my home town and with family and friends united, have a wedding likely at a park that we normally have family reunions at, and just make the family larger while we are there :-)

We filed on Jan 7th! Our packet was delivered, according to USPS, but we haven't heard back.

July 3, 2011 - POE at Pacific Central Station

July 25, 2011 - AOS mailed

August 30, 2011 - RFE (ARRRRGH)

September 26, 2011 - Biometrics appt

Sept 30 - Response to RFE sent in.

November 22, 2011 - Interview @ San Bernardino. Approved! Went down the street and got a passport stamp too, so I can travel for xmas.

NO MORE DEALING WITH IMMIGRATION FOR TWO WHOLE YEARS! AMAZING!

Hey! All your plans sound great. I just wanted to give you a heads up... In Guatemala the police reports etc, have an expiration date of 6 months. Probably want her to see if it's the same at her Country, you never know!. :thumbs:

It depends on where you live.

I don't have a list right off-hand with which states go to which service centers, but I know I read a thread with it recently.

For instance, I'm from Illinois so we go to CSC.

It depends on where you live.

I don't have a list right off-hand with which states go to which service centers, but I know I read a thread with it recently.

For instance, I'm from Illinois so we go to CSC.

If you don't know for sure which one you're going to, just leave it blank for now and fill it in when you get your e-mail notification or your NOA1.

I too am from Chicago, so CSC it is :) That can be updated into the list if needed

K-1 Visa Timeline:

04/03/2008 - Met by chance while vacationing in Costa Rica. Travel 3 weeks together. We kiss on final night together

06/05/2008 - I visit her in Germany, travel and stay together for 5 weeks. We hit it off big time

11/27/2008 - She moves in with me while I live and work in England on 2 year working VISA

08/03/2010 - 2 year working VISA expires, I move back to the States, sadly leave her behind in England

11/16/2010 - Fly her out to Paris and propose to her in front of Eiffel Tower. She says yes :)

01/03/2011 - I-129F, K-1 Packet sent to Dallas lockbox via USPS registered mail

01/07/2011 - Delivered, January 07, 2011, 6:38 am, DALLAS, TX

01/18/2011 - Packet rejected (incomplete, missing info)

01/19/2011 - Scrap USA plans, decide to live in UK few more years

01/28/2011 - Biometrics Complete & UK Visitor Marriage Visa Fed Ex'd next day delivery w/Priority Service

To come:

03/26/2011 - Our marriage in London

- EEA Family Permit (6 months right to live and work in UK)

- EEA2 Visa (5 years right to live in UK)

??/??/201? - Move back to America to raise family once kids come into the picture

I too am from Chicago, so CSC it is :) That can be updated into the list if needed

Make sure you update on your timeline page, as well.

That goes for everyone.

When you find out what your service center is, make sure you update it on your timeline.

Texas doesn't do K-1 petitions anymore. Just California and Vermont.
