TwoCats,

I am soo sorry I got your hubby's name wrong   How embarassing. But it is a great idea that you be there for your Kata (L) . I plan on being at my Rosalia's interview in Cuidad Juarez ( it being the most dangerous city this side of the earth ). This is a second K1 filing being done on my behalf. Hey, if worse comes to worse we marry over there in Chihuahua and file a CR1.

My sincere apologies 2 :luv: 's

eff

No worries. Kata isn't his real name anyways.

It's a nickname that kind of stuck and now he prefers me (and my family) to call him that.

My mom still flubs sometimes and calls him by his real name (which is Mark btw), and then corrects herself.

That is cool!! Oksana is from Novosibirsk, lived there all her life and only been to Moscow once. If Lena is familiar with Moscow, I may have a few questions about location planning for when we are in Moscow for doctor and interview. Even for someone that speaks the language, it is probably best to go into this well prepared on where to stay and how to get from point A to point B without too many issues, especially since it can affect getting the visa!!!

Lena is familiar with Moscow true her friend (she went to NYC few years ago ) and she also reads Russian forum zaokeanom.com. When we prepare I-29F I found info here to be so match better. We will help you. How do you want to do it?

Ok everyone. I was talking to Edouardo this morning about my upcoming trip. I went to see if we could finally see our case status online. Well, much to my surprise......We are in Post Decision Activity and our I129f has been approved! This is such a blessing to our family. Honestly, I didnt want to post anything on here because I feel bad. I love that we got approved but I dont like the fact that others have been waiting up to 7 months for the same process. I know for timeline purposes I have to update mine, but I decided to tell you all first. I pray that everyone's process is smooth and as speedy as possible. Now to wrap my head around all this stuff I wasn't expecting to do until Spring/Summer. God Bless.

Really and truly, congratulations!

It's probably the Haiti expedite that's got you going faster.

But don't worry about the rest of us.

The K-1 is for coming to the U.S. and getting married here as faust said.

I think that you could have an unofficial ceremony (don't get a marriage license, or file any paperwork to register the wedding) for his family.

(Not 100% sure, though - so someone can correct me if i'm wrong).

thanks a lot that cleared things up for me so maybe ill try to convince them for a bachler party who knows o.O... i just hope i get some sort of notification soon or i am going go insane with the stress ! @.@

Congrats!! No need to worry, I think everyone in here is adult enough to be happy for you. After all, treat others as you would want to be treated. Again, congrats. Enjoy the time together and never squander the moment together.

NOA hard copy came in today, received date of 1/18 (which I already knew) and notice date of 1/20. Now into the big black hole of who knows which box my file is in!!! LOL!

Question, I was just looking at my NOA1 hard copy and noticed that my fiance is listed, but the children that I included are not on the NOA1 paper. Anyone else file with children, and if so are they not on yours as well? Is this because they look at them as just deriving their benefit from the beneficiary??
