I know it's been passed to Vermont & we've had an email about that, but that's all we know.

We're still very new to all this so we're trying to get our heads around the complexities!! :unsure:

Welcome to the January filers!

Is the 20th the date you got the e-mail?

If so, you might want to wait until you get your NOA1 hardcopy or you can access the online system.

That will give you your actual NOA1 date.

It's a little confusing, but we're all in the same boat and more than willing to lend a hand with questions.

Hello all! Thanks TwoCats for turning me on to this thread ;) I'd like to be added to the list.

I'm Jay from the US petitioning my fiance Tin from Phil. I mailed my packet on 12-30-2010 (forwarded to Vermont), received NOA1 on 01-06-2011 and was touched on 01-07-2011.

It's nice to have a group of people all filing at the same time, I think this thread will be very helpful when it gets close to NOA2 time (AKA party time)

Welcome everyone.

I sent out messages to some of the people who already had NOA1s who weren't part of the group, inviting them to join us. So we may see some people trickling in through that.

I'm actually feeling a little encouraged about California. The number of petitions they seem to be churning out is really pretty good right now, so I'm hopeful that their times will get shorter as we go along in the wait. They even approved a September person yesterday! So they're moving up in months.

As for Vermont, alas... I really pray that they start approving faster for all of those waiting.

Have any of you read any other group forums?? I was reading a couple forums, like ours, and they were all at each others throats!! Boy am i glad we are all getting along and I hope it stays like that but I have no doubts. :thumbs:

I'm fairly behind in my readings here and I just got caught up! I can't believe how long you guys have to wait to see your sweeties :crying:. It puts things in perspective though. The longest Jason and I have been apart is 4 weeks. We are pretty lucky as its only a 10hour drive for us. Sometimes we meet in the middle on weekends but we usually stick to once a month visits. :blush: I guess I shouldn't complain about being apart any more as there are those, many of you, that have to be apart even longer. Guess i need to give my head a shake :bonk:

I'm fairly confident that we will see our visa's by August! Its all about faith guys! Keep up the positive attitudes :yes:
