Ok, i got packet form in the mail and it says i need to go to this link:

http://londonembassy.gov/visaforms.html

Problem is, the link no longer exists on the embassy page.

The letter says something about filling out form IV19 before the interview but it's nowhere to be found on the London USA embassy site... anyone from the UK have any idea what they are asking?

Hey there, I did a little research and here is where you can breathe again. It seems that the link is old news and why they put it on the letter still is a mystery as clearly it doesn't work  the IV19 is not something you fill out but it is something you must bring. It is *drum roll* your appointment letter  Way to scare the pants off us London Embassy! Here is a link for you to see it listed as well http://london.usembassy.gov/visaforms.html looks a lot like the link you posted only with a dot between London and a us before embassy. Maybe that is what they meant to put?

Also here is a list of what you need to bring to the interview: http://london.usembassy.gov/interview_documents.html

Hope that helps!

Sweet! Congrats!

Hey guys, i have a quick question about the DS-160 form

We are finally sending our packet 3 in Montreal. We havent recieved the actual packet yet b/c of the postal strike.

What address did you use to send the packet to montreal?

Did you print out the actual DS-160 (online form) for the packet 3, or was the online confirmation of DS 160 form ok?

I was unable to upload a picture (even though i scanned my previous passport picture) is it possible to upload it again on line for the DS 160 form? I was planning on including an extra picture in my packet 3.

Pls let us know. Also, our NOA 2 will expire in early september. I hope the embassy books the interview sometime in mid august. have you heard of the NOA2 expiring b/c of interview scheduling delays?

NOA 1 : Jan 19, 2011

NOA 2: May 10, 2011

Medical: July 19, 2011

Interview: Aug 15, 2011

Hi my January Friends,

We received our NOA2 on June 27th. How long have you all typically waiting for NVC to receive the case and forward it on to the embassy? I am just trying to see how NVC is doing. I called today and they don't have it yet. I did receive my NOA2 Hard Copy on Friday!

Thanks!!

most take about 3 or 4 business days to get to the NVC but it can be anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks until it gets forwarded to your embassy.

Best to just keep calling everyday (we called twice a day everyday) and see what's happening.

What address did you use to send the packet to montreal?

Did you print out the actual DS-160 (online form) for the packet 3, or was the online confirmation of DS 160 form ok?

Pls let us know. Also, our NOA 2 will expire in early september. I hope the embassy books the interview sometime in mid august. have you heard of the NOA2 expiring b/c of interview scheduling delays?

Did your NOA2 have a different Case number or does the NVC issue a different number to quote? I want to call to find out when the package was sent to the Vancouver Embassy (I have to change my address with the Embassy) but not sure what info to give? And, how did you know to do your packet 3 if you didn't receive the hard copy?

Also, how long is your NOA2 for? I won't be back to the US until July 27th and Vancouver until Sept 15th - our NOA2 is dated July 1st and I need to know how long I have to fax back the DS-230 and checklist?

What is a DS-160?

The confusion is setting in now as to the next steps - - I know a few days to the NVC and then could be up to a few weeks to reach Vancouver but then I'm confused on the timelines for the next procedures. I'm still in Japan until the end of July so hopefully I won't miss any deadlines!

Thx :luv:

I emailed the K department at the Vancouver Consulate and they emailed me Packet 3 and 4! Call the NVC and get your new Case # so you can email the K department requesting the same, if you haven't already. I'm a lil behind in this forum.

Could you please post the phone number for the NVC? We should have our new case number soon and I'd like to let the Vancouver Consulate know my address change before they mail out the package... although I did put in a change of address with Canada Post I'm thinking it would be better to avoid delays.

Also, how long did you have to fax back the DS-230 form and checklist?

You are sooooo lucky your embassy is vancouver! Atleast they are email savvy and use faxes! Montreal is very hard to get a hold of plus their interview wait time is nothing compared to montreal..

A letter should be mailed/ emailed to the petitioner with your embassy case #. (mine started with MTL####...) I used that and the used the WAC number in one of the forms (DS-160)

I went to the consulate's website under tofind a list of packet 3 forms needed. But definitely get in touch with your embassy once you know ur pprwork has left nvc.

4 weeks today since submitting a "service request" and still no luck.

I'm unsure what to make of that. We'll qualify for expeditious processing in 2 days - not certain if this will actually mean anything either. Really just waiting for the stage where someone can tell us whether they've lost our petition or not.

You don't need to fill out DS-160 unless Montreal requires it. I've never even heard of that form being required to be filled out or a photo needing to be uploaded for the K Visa process.
