Ok! After almost a week full of drama, feeling like i was in the twilight zone, calling the embassy, calling people and praying i've gotten my packet 3 with my interview date.

JULY 14TH AT 8 AM

God is so good, always. You doubt, but He is always there.

Congrats! I'm so happy for you it turned out well after all!

I really really hope the Embassy has received my case when I call them on Tuesday or I'm gonna flip :bonk:

Have you signed up for an account at the USCIS website?

If not, enter your "Receipt Number" (from your NOA1 e-mail) into the box on the left of the homepage under "Check Status" and hit the button. On the next page, from the options on the left, select "sign up for case updates" to sign up for an account.

Once you've got your account, you can "add" your case (again using your receipt number) and it will show up in a table on your account homepage. The date under "last updated" is your tast "touch".

Hi everyone,

I was starting to think that maybe CSC skipped over the one box containing the last of our January petitions... but we got our NOA2 Friday, and without any RFEs too! We are so happy right now!

I have a question. I'm leaving for a vacation Tuesday for 3 weeks and was wondering how Packet 3 will be delivered. Will it be dropped off in the mailbox? Or does someone actually come to the door with it and require a signature? That's because no one will be home to sign for it and I'm afraid my interview date will be delayed.

Can anyone please advise?

I'm not sure about Singapur, but I got it yesterday and my mom signed for it. They didn't just drop it in the mailbox.

Hi Ashley. In Guatemala there is no packet 3. (Which is actually very awesome) They send out packet 4 with your interview date right away after they receive your package from the NVC. They don't ask for form the DS-230 either. Consulate (embassy) sends it to you. When I called the NVC the operator told me what day it was sent... and they said the same thing to Chris :blink: I wonder why they couldn´t tell you. And when I called the embassy they told us when they got the packet too. So we do have specific dates for those events.

In prior posts I read from our dear TwoCats that the Department of State (dos) could tell you in more specific terms what had happened to your packet, maybe you should try calling them 202-663-1225 and ask with your new NVC case number.

I can't seem to find it. How can you track a package sent to the Embassy if you know the date it was sent out?

1. Go to: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

2. In Reference, enter the info as follows:

EXP DD MMM YYYYA

EXP is constant

DD is the date before the day the NVC said they shipped the case.

MMM is the three letters representing the month the NVC shipped the case

YYYY is the year the NVC shipped the case

A is constant

For example, if the NVC says they shipped the case on February 12 2009, this would be entered as "EXP 11 FEB 2009A"

3. Date range for shipment - From: Enter the date of the day NVC said they sent the case

4. Date range for shipment - To: Enter todays date

5. Keep the rest of the fields blank

7. Once you enter the info, press "Track"

8. After a while you will see a list of all of the packages that left the NVC today. You need to search for the specific consulate.

9. When you find the shipment the corresponds to your consulate, you will see the tracking number that you can record.

10. You can then track the shipment from the NVC to your specific Consulate

01/12/2011-> NOA1
05/11/2011-> NOA2
05/19/2011-> NVC Receives we have our No.
05/20/2011-> Case sent to the Consulate.
05/25/2011-> Consulate Received Package.
05/28/2011-> Received Packet 4 with my Interview Letter.
06/01/2011-> Medical Exam.
07/14/2011-> Interview at 8:00 am. APPROVED!!!
07/18/2011-> Pick up Visa at the Embassy.
08/03/2011-> P.O.E.
10/15/2011-> MARRIED!

AOS

11/07/2011-> AOS Packet Sent.

11/10/2011-> NOA Date According email & online status.

11/19/2011-> Hard Copies & Biometrics App. Letter.

11/23/2011-> Biometrics Walk In. (Original App. 12/06/2011)

02/07/2012-> AOS transferred to CSC.

02/17/2012-> EAD Card Received in Mail.

05/04/2012-> Green Card Production Ordered.

05/10/2012-> Green Card and Welcome Letter Received.
ROC

02/03/2014-> ROC Packet Sent.

02/10/2014-> NOA1 Date according to Hard Copy.

03/11/2014-> Biometrics Date.

08/01/2014-> Approved (Letter Rcvd. 08/07/14)

08/14/2014-> 10 Year Green Card Received.

N-400

11/02/2015-> N-400 Packet Sent.

11/04/2015-> N-400 Packet Delivdered.

11/05/2015-> NOA1 Date according to Hard Copy.

12/01/2015-> Biometrics Date.

04/07/2016-> Civics Exam and Interview (Rescheduled from 03/01) PASSED!

04/27/2016-> Oath. I am a US Citizen. This is how this journey ends!
