Don't worry about it, it won't make a difference.

Check "do not intend", then write "N/A (K1 visa process for permanent residence)" (see the example form).

Congrats to the latest NOA 2's. Just wondering about NVC. Got the NOA 2 on May 12th. I didn't think it stayed at NVC too long and I'm getting stressed. Contacted Vancouver today and they don't have anything yet. Should I call and ask NVC my status or will they freak out since it hasn't been 4 weeks? I tried putting my case # in the automated system and it didn't come back with anything.

I am getting stressed out too here! You should call and ask for an operator, K1 visas are NOT entered into the automated system so it will tell you your case is not in their system. Call them and press "5" to talk to an operator or contact them via email.

The reason I am stressing is because NVC told my fiance our case has been sent out on Friday and today I contacted the Frankfurt Consulate via email and they told me they have not received the petition from NVC yet :wacko: Is it possibly because of the weekend? There is a package that went out to Germany on Friday and it was delivered on Monday, there is also another package that went out to Germany on Monday and will be delivered today (status says "with delivery courier" right now). Maybe NVC said they sent it out Friday, but it wasn't picked up until Monday?? I am freaking, I want Germany to have my case already so I know it's safe can wait for my Packet 3 :(

I am getting stressed out too here! You should call and ask for an operator, K1 visas are NOT entered into the automated system so it will tell you your case is not in their system. Call them and press "5" to talk to an operator or contact them via email.

Seeing all these January approvals gives me hope, and seeing so many people being approved with the same, or close to the same, NOA1 date as us really makes me happy. Please God, let today be the day we receive our NOA2!! (L)(L)

Hello!

A little late to this but I'm a January filer too! Congratulations to everyone who has received NOA2 recently, and fingers crossed for everyone who is still waiting.

We called NVC yesterday and they said packet 3 was sent to us a couple of days ago, 23rd May. I still haven't received it, but glad I booked my medical before waiting for it to arrive as there was a 3 week wait! It seems to have taken a while for London to log our case; I'm hoping the delays there aren't as bad as some people suggest.

I will probably contact the Consulate again on Friday about my case. They wrote me back saying it might take up to two weeks to arrive, but all the cases sent from NVC to Frankfurt, Germany, arrive in two days time, so I don't buy that :P Maybe it only takes them a bit to log the case into the system.

Caroline. Don't stress, we are on "fast lane" now. If it was sent on friday they mean that they sent the order to send it on friday, but was picked up on monday. (That is what happened to mine) So it will be delivered today. :D No worries!

Caroline. Don't stress, we are on "fast lane" now. If it was sent on friday they mean that they sent the order to send it on friday, but was picked up on monday. (That is what happened to mine) So it will be delivered today. :D No worries!

That's what I was thinking. A package went out to Germany on Monday and it was just delivered 2 hours ago. I am really, really hoping that that's the one, which is why I am contacting the Consulate again on Friday. :bonk::P

P.S. I always worry :unsure: I'll be better once I know the package arrived and didn't get lost anywhere.
