Yep!

That's exactly what it means!

What is packet 3 and 4? What is packet anyway?:bonk:

Packet 3 is instructions/forms you need to fill out and return to the embassy. This is where you actually fill out visa-related paperwork.

Packet 4 is your appointment letter for your interview.

We are waiting for NVC to receive our package... :blink:

We got our NOA2 on the 10th just one day before you and also still waiting on NVC to receive ours too. As of 6:30pm EST last night they did not have it yet. Please do post when they receive it as ours are probably being sent to them in the same batch to NVC :star:

On May 17, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice.

Just checked my email and saw we were approved and double checked the USCIS site and we are yayyyyyyyy, thought it was gonna be a 6 month wait at one point but they really turned it around?.

Yeah, it's ridiculous - looks like VSC are going to bring all the January filers in at under 5 months. Terrific stuff :thumbs:

August, 2014 - I-751 sent

August 2014 (two weeks later) - NOA1 Received

March 2015 - RFE Received

May 2015 - RFE Packet Sent

Thanks! I hope you're right. I'm thinking it might be because they are supposedly approaching the petitions filed in mid-December, and I think that at that time of the year (holidays, New Year, etc.) not many people would have sent in k1 apps. Then again, maybe not. :blush:

NOA2 on May 16!!!!! YAAAAY!! What a shock to get it this soon when we were mentally prepared to wait until July!! Now I will be able to get everything organized for my medical and my interview in August as soon as I get back from my 2-month stay with Josh! This is GREAT!!!!!

Janis, about the change of address, I emailed the consulate in Helsinki and asked them, and they replied within in hour that I can just email them my address now and they will make sure it gets sent to my new address. Easy and simple, I definitely recommend emailing the embassy - especially if it will cost you extra to get your mail forwarded for an extra period of time.

I also managed to call one of the I think two doctors who perform the medicals in Helsinki, and he told me I would have to get photocopies of every vaccination I've received ever since I was born... Seriously?! My family has moved around quite a bit so this is no easy task, but my mother has managed to hang on to the little vaccination card she was given when I was born and which has a record of all the shots Ive had. Still this doctor said it is not enough and he needs photocopies... bummer.

Anyway congrats on all the NOA2's!!!! I will also update my timeline :-) (L)

Thanks for the tip... I'll definately email the Embassy. My mom kept my vaccination card too - just hope it's enough but I also emailed my clinic for proof of my Hep A/B details and thankfully got an email request back right away. Might contact the clinic to be sure that's what I need and make sure I have everything organized before the medical.

No kidding! I'm still in that mindset that I won't recieve a NOA2 until July...but if I get one early, well that's just bonus!
