Border was easy. They just asked when we were getting married and what we both did for a living. Didn't even ask how long I was staying and I got my passport stamped (didn't think to ask because they usually don't).

Thanks for the update..I drove over with family to USA to meet him and his family this weekend. They just asked the regular questions..how long are we going for, didnt stamp passports and didnt ask for evidence. Im assuming it was easier b/c I went with my family...

Hi Sandra n Matt & Carl 24

yes pls keep us posted. I am driving over to see my fiance this weekend...and flying over next month as well.. getting nervous about what they might ask

So I crossed no problem but driving back to Canada this morning the border guard asked me if Jay will be moving to Canada eventually. I did say no but I ended up telling him i'd be the one moving and we do have a K1 Visa application pending. He then asked me how that was going. As i was starting my car back up he started to plug away at the computer. If the US border guards didn't know about my application they will know now I assume.

Congratulations Pejo!

Really, seriously fast approval.

Am I the only one getting excited by the fact that there have been a couple of January and February approvals?

I mean, the skeptic in me sees that they are 02/01 and 01/27 01/28 and wonders if someone just grabbed one box they shouldn't.

And then there's the part of me that got a touch on our case yesterday crossing her fingers.

Yes, I have a theory about what may be happening. We shall see if it proves out. We may be seeing a ripple effect from them trying to marry up (no pun intented there) paperwork from petition already in a box, and what I was told to send in for my revisions. Like I said we shall see, but it is funny that around the time my revisions get there, we see a working backwards from almost that date back into January now...almost as if they are looking for something. Again, that is JUST a theory and may be nothing more than a training exercise.

Still not able to get to any status online. Emailed them nicely and they sent back saying they do not correct things via email, that I have to call...which we know is not factual. Anyways, that is my thoughts for today.

Congrats to everyone that has been lucky so far. Many prayers here for continued luck for everyone.

Congratulations on the NOA2!! WOW! I am wondering if you requested a rush for your application?

Also, to anyone else... After reading some threads about the signitures on the Biographical for G-something, I was looking through my forms again to make sure we placed both our signiture and printed name at the very bottom, and I recognized an error!!!! On my biographical Information form I put my signiture and I typed my full name at the end of the form but I accidentaly left out a letter in my middle name. Instead of typing Sommer, I typed Somer!!! My name is spelled correctly in every single other place throughout the information, and they have a copy of my birth certificate. Do you think they are going to return my package and ask me to fix it?? If so, do you think I could send them a newly filled in form in advance, before they have the chance to return my package?? What would you do?

Bless,

Ashley
