Just saw the post too and it confirmed that history will repeat. Back in 2006 when the VB retro it was unchanged for 3months then it went back to current date.

So it looks like the VB will be back to 2010 sometime in May. The 3months of unchange, they will be working on clearing PD of jan 2008 to july 2010.

I pray so as my sister's PD is Sept 27, 2010.

We all knew that they will finish 2008 PD in 2011, most of the PD 2008 will be automatically upgraded to IR1 category anyway..So 2008 PD has to wait to till naturalization complete.

I dont optimistic for the VB anymore, DOS always lies anyway. Look at Emaployment visa category for India-2 is CURRENT? Its not make any sense to being current...just collect the I-485 fees?? According Demand data used for is way...back !!

If most of F2A has to wait till Naturalization completed...why DOS has moved PD forward. According my knowledge NO ONE at VJer's haven't get visa from PD 2008/2009/2010, even interview has been scheduled for some of them but no visa given out!!

So, it mean DOS never used 88000 visa for F2A category...Is it descrimination against Immigrant spouse??

Since USCIS minimized the processing date of I-130 approval, I guess VB will remain same for the next years and years....!!!!!

I am doubt DOS is not using total amount of visa as per law manded

Well Feb Visa bulleting is up. And unfortunarely F2A category remains unchanged for pd of JAN 08! what a shame
