I'm stressing now - package was mailed in 20th January, got delivery confirmation 25th January, check presented overnight 31 January but nothing else - no email confirmation, no NOA's in the mail....any ideas, am I worrying too early or should I ring?

Congrats on those that got their biometrics letter already. I hope that means my husband's is coming soon too.

Seems likely. It's funny how fast they move once the wait doesn't feel so long. It looks like they schedule them fairly far out so you should have a good shot with taking time off from your job at least.

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

Hey guys. Marcos went in for his bio appt on wednesday the 2nd. It was pretty quick. I was sad I couldn't go. Now just waiting for the EAD or interview. Hope you guys enjoyed the super bowl today!

Just got home from a long weekend trip to Michigan (we left early thursday morning for hubbys job) and I am happy to report there was my biometrics letter awaiting for me upon my arrival!!! It is dated Jan 31st not sure when it arrived (thurs, fri, sat or today). I guess teh BUffalo office isn't too busy as its schedualed for next thursday Feb 17th :)

Did walk-in bio today (scheduled 3/2)

The office close at 4pm, and we got there at 3:50 pm. The place was empty, and the people were nice enough to let us in. The whole process took only 5 minutes... :dance: :dance: :dance:

So anyone else did there Bio appt last week or earlier? The hubby did his on the 2nd and nothing has been touched since. I understand it takes time and such, but dude just touch my file, so I know we are sitting under a chair holding it up.

We didn't even go in early, because I knew they wouldn't touch the file until that date anyways...... *sigh* I just hate waiting and not knowing. I am totally cool with waiting if I know they are actually working on it!

Well at least your husband had his biometrics appointment. My husband's NOA1 is dated January 20 and he still hasn't gotten a biometrics appointment letter yet.

if you haven't done so, try to call them. It worked in my case. My bio letter was issued on the day I called them.

Got notice of an RFE today, although it said a notice was sent yesterday, the 7th, but I'm pretty sure I know what it's about so I'm not bothered. Hopefully I'll be able to send it back in the same day I get it and they get to it before the medical to get us back on track. Oh well. Just a lame early birthday present for me. :bonk:
