Got RFE'd today ugggh......this is so stupid! :angry: They say I need to submit a income tax return for the most recent tax year(2010). I sent in the 3 recent tax years statements07, 08,09...however Im assuming the USCIS looks at it like that I was fired or layed off and had no income for 2010. Im still working at the same job hello?????????? :bonk: I need to submit a statement from my company explaining my position and salary and etc.

Just wondering if I could just submit one off my sections of my 2010 W2 and this would be allright? :wacko:

That really sucks.. ;\ I was out of a job when I applied and still am (been unemployed for less than a month but it still sucks!) but I did hold employment for most of 2010.. so I might get RFE'd too? I dunno. I hope our joint sponsor will be enough for them but we'll see..

In happier news (for me, anyway), we got our NOA1s today. Looking forward to the biometrics letter soon pleeeeease!

Uh oh, I didn't send an income tax return for 2010 either. Of course I didn't, I didn't get my W2's for 2010 before we sent my husband's AOS package. I sent it off then because I thought USCIS prefers if you file for AOS before your I-94 expires, and to do that I could not submit an income tax return for 2010. Sheesh. I did have a letter from my employer though, stating my position and salary. I hope that's good enough and I don't get a RFE.

Yeah, I think USCIS seems to be ####### about this. It's sensitive, I guess, because we all applied at the start of the year but before the tax season. I hope it's just a few grumpy/picky employees and it doesn't happen to all of us. :wacko:

Yeah it sucks...hope everyone else does not get RFE'd like me....who knows? Its an easy fix just sucks to have our case delayed like this. However its an easy fix I think. Hopefully I can get all I need to fix our situation by tomorrow.I will keep everyone posted of happenings as they occour. :blink:

Hi Matt,

Glad to see you and Laddawan are together and married.

Did you submit six months of pay stubs from your most recent job. I could not believe but that was the number stated in the I-864 instructions so I submitted 6 months of pau stubs, a letter from my employer and three years of tax returns, 07, 08, 09.

I hope thsat covers it.
