Thank you I'm stoked. I'm hoping once biometrics is done next Monday it will be onwards and upwards with ease and speed :) Thank goodness I dont have to go through all this hoopla once baby is born - its a USC and Kiwi by birthright so am very happy about that :D

Yay FINALLY my AOS is online. EAD and AP no but AOS says.....

On February 22, 2011, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made.

I'm not in California. I'm in Fort Worth, Texas but I believe that the majority of K1 AOS that are transferred to CSC mean that I won't have an interview - just a card production in due course.....fingers crossed :D

So if somehow we get our green card while EAD and AP are pending....(I know that the AP wouldn't matter anymore as we should be able to go in and out of the country with our green card) BUT does a green card also give us the right to work OR do we still need the EAD?

Green card trumps all - you can work with it as it over-rides the EAD.

We first met online 2004, but things started to get serious in Dec 2007. Made my first visit to the USA in march 2008 for 2 weeks. Then returned again in Aug 2008 for 3 months.. Then i came back to the UK for 5 months to return back to the USA April 2009 for another 3months.

My husband and I got notice early this morning that our case had been transferred to CSC! We were so ecstatic, it was still a few hours before I had to be up for work but I was too excited to go back to sleep. We are feeling very lucky and blessed to have an adjudicator this morning who had their coffee and were in a chipper mood, or whatever the luck of the draw is.

Our bio appointment is ALSO this Friday, and then it'll be smooth sailing from there.

I feel so bad for those who still cannot see their status or don't have their appointment letters yet. Just bug the heck out of them. I would.

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

I also successfully did my biometrics walk-in today at a difference ASC location. Hope things will go smoother from now on. :bonk::bonk::bonk:
