So I just sent off the AOS package for my husband. It took me a while to get everything ready. I even had to get a new co-sponsor because my first one decided not to do it anymore. That halted everything until this past december. The good thing is....the package is on it's way to USCIS :)

Hey Macaroni! Good luck with the AOS filing. I hope that the waiting goes by very, very quickly!!

Our naturalization timeline
1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

Hi. please help. I need an advice. I came here for fiance visa. I'm getting married next week. But my visa will expire on feb11, 2011. Do we really have to apply for Permanent residency before my visa expires? thnx.

Better to start your own thread if you have a question.

But no, there's no set time within which you have to file for AOS. As long as you get married within the 90 days, you're good. But apply as soon as you can because you're technically "out of status" after the 90 days, so for peace of mind you should file ASAP.

AOS package sent on 7th Jan and delivered to Chicago on 10th. Little worried as we have not received NOA1 mail yet.

ok now I am feeling left out! We technically filed in Dec (the 29) but our NOA's are from January 6. Which makes us a January filer. And we haven't gotten out Bio letter!

The only touch I have seen is on the 14, but I think that is because of me... its the date I was able to finally add them to my account, to stare endless at them.

My life is so sad these days.... even our the MLK weekend, I kept checking the site, just hoping something would happen/move. Even though I knew they weren't open.
