This has to do if you are using real-estate as an asset.

If your income exceeds 125% poverty line then don't use assets.

In my case I was well above. I attached:

  • Past 3 years IRS return simple transcripts.
  • Past 6 months pay stubs.
  • Employer letter.

I-134 is needed by consulate, not when filing I-129F, moving this to consulate forum..

Yes you need to show how much your home is valued. You need to have an appraiser come and look over your house. The embassy need appraised value from professional appraiser. So keep in mind DO NOT just go to a website and get the value of your house from the website and take it to the embassy. You also need to show how much mortgage you have on your house. For example if your house is valued $145000 and you have around $ 127000 mortgage on your house, then the value would be around $18000. $145000-$127000= $18000.

Again this is only needed if using the home as an asset in the case where income falls below 125% poverty line, if income exceeds the line then no need to list assets.

ok since my income doesn't exceeds that much I would leave that blank or put N/A or NONE for those questions? Will the consulate still need verification that I'm a full time employee and my tax info?

Thanks Again VJ community for you help!!!!! :star:

Yes they WILL request past year's IRS returns or simple IRS transcripts. And I would attach a letter from employer.

Consulate like to use same evidence with I-134 as what I-864 recommends in it's instructions.
