A number discrepancy

So I filed for AOS in December and got my NOA1 for all four application components. Now I have a biometrics letter for later this month for AOS and EAD. I didn't notice until today but on the I485 NOA and the biometrics it would appear that USCIS have issued me a new A number. But the NOA for AP has the A number I provided from my old EAD which is what I used in all of my applications. NOAs for the I130 or I 765 do not have an A number listed.

What to do? Is this a problem?

I would probably not sweat this one. I-130 and I-765 NOA-1 never shows an A-Number.

More than likely you can ask someone at the Biometrics appointment about the change in A-Number.

What visa are you adjusting from? Be aware only a few visa types do not require AP doc (I-131) for International travel. AOS from K-1, B-2, F-1, need AP to travel while I-485 is pending.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

When I was filling out the paperwork @ my biometrics form, I used my SSN instead of A-number (which is what the form said to do). The USCIS employee then erased it and entered my new A-number from the biometrics letter. He said that is the most recent number so to use it going forward.

I'm adjusting from F-1. I filed I-485, I-130, I-765 and I-131 concurrently. The AOS NOA1 indicates a new A# despite me already having one issued on a prior (now expired) EAD. I got the EAD for 3 months pre-completion OPT and it expired August. I supplied this A# on all of my applications since it was my understanding (and also what I had been advised) that this number follows you for subsequent applications such as AOS.

However, despite being assigned this new number, the NOA for I-131 lists my old A#. I thought this was somewhat odd and right now getting the AP approved in a timely manner is most important for me as I will need to travel sometime around the end of March. Of course I don't have anything booked yet, I know to wait for the AP to come through.

I guess I will ask when I go to Charleston WV for my biometrics for AOS and EAD - I'm planning a walk in tomorrow.
