10/1/2011 i think...

Its 3 years from first greencard issued and you have to be married for three years.

hello,

my wife came here on a cr1 visa we have already got approved removal of conditions her date of entry into usa was 10/1/2008 which is when she got her pr status we have already been married 3.5 yrs so when is the earliest we can file the n-400

Just go to the USCIS form site, find the N-400, open it, and download all the attachments, has one on eligibility requirements, tells you all about required evidence. Is kind of nice with the check list, didn't have that before.

I would be dead lost with the USCIS if I didn't have a computer, when I first called about seven years ago, they sent me out a bunch of forms that all required to be filled out by hand with nebulous instructions

Always add a second HD to my computers, if you store in drive C like Windows wants you to, and it crashes, you are dead meat. Partitioned that drive in FAT32, that can be read by anything, made a USCIS directory with sub directories of AOS, I-751, and N-400 with further sub directories of the name of the persons under those forms, have more than one, actually three. Scanned all of our evidence, and anything that comes in from the USCIS, forms, dates, etc. Also on a home network so this directory is on two other computers, and even burnt a CD. See that directory is over 300 MB now, but its all there. Learned with the N-400 could do a lot of copying and pasting, incredible how redundant the USCIS is and was helpful to keep track of trips, employment, and address changes.

Quickly learn the USCIS works with paper and lots and lots of paper.

You can file your N-400 one year after your wife approved removal of conditions,...and you have to be married.
