The problem I see is when you apply for a job. For tax purposes you have to use the name on your social security card and it may come up a no match since it is not the same as the name on your green card. And it may add to confusion since you have two names.

did you come on a k-1? Did you fill out the AOS with your maiden name? If so, that is why. The social security office would give you the card in your married name due to you probably had to show your marriage certificate right? Although, they shouldnt have done that. It should have been the name on your EAD or green card. Belinda63 is right though, you could have issues getting a job or even a driver's license.

It might give you a problem if you use names not match to each other incorrect names to IRS will give you hardtime recieving tax refund or other benefits from the federal, advice go to any social security office to fix it and avoid any delay in the future.
