should i be calling uscis? my fiance country of birth is dominican republic and i abbreviate to DO. and when i got my noa1 it says country of birth unknown..her middle name is missing also i did call uscis but they told me they can only send a petition for name correction to vermont nothing else. what else can i do?

If somewhere else on the petition or the G325a, you made it clear she lives and/or was born in the Dominican Republic, I wouldn't worry about it. For instance, what did you put in section 20 of the I-129F.

If you are the US Citizen, then you filed the papers. It's your petition. You bear the responsibility but both of you face any potential consequences. Don't make the same mistake again.

That's the mistake. If they misunderstand the country of birth, your case may be delayed at some point in the process. That's the potential consequence.
