Hi Friends

I have filed IR-5 for my mother in April 2013, and the same was approved on December 13th 2013. the online status says post decision activity. Now I have no clue what to expect next. what should I do and what papers and forms should I keep ready, and if my mother back in India need to collect any forms or paper work from her end?

i havent got anything from nov 18 when i case is transfered to TSC.

can you tell me which days your case is transferred and to which service center.?

so i can think and hope my case will approve soon.

but as much as i know you have to wait NVC number to pay fees.

I just called NVC to ask if they received my mom's case and the lady I spoke with said it is not there yet. It is taking them about 8 weeks now to get the case but I was advised to check with them periodically.

It used to be 20 days from the time it was mailed by the USCIS... then it went up to 30 days... now it could take up to 8 weeks.

I called NVC and my case is not there yet still and yeah the usual 8 weeks and I called USCIS just to track it, they told me 90 days... now i am mad

Dont worry, they say that to everyone.. I guess they love to make us mad. lol Or they like to surprise us with good news when they come early.

I called NVC last week and they told me my case was no where to be found.. Called today and they said it got there on the 9th of December. Just be patient, it will happen! =)

The good part is that CSV is moving a little faster than other service center. My NOA is also April 16. Both the cases were transferred to CSV on Nov 25 and I am hoping to hear something positive within this month.

My Mom's petition was received by NVC December 9th, I called today and was told they are in the process of uploading the case on the system, that's why no case number available yet.
