Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

I got this notice today and i got confused. My NOA2 says they shipped the petition to nvc nov 19 and this notice came in my email today:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

On December 12, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

All the service centers are processing around the same timeframe (February 2013). I believe both are NBC which from many that I've seen here, the case will get transferred to another service center for processing.

My case was transferred from NBC to NSC and processed within a month.

I hope you'll hear something soon.

You're welcome.

It may mean that they're sending it to one of the more popular service center such as TSC or NSC for processing. In a few days they may send you another update with where they sent your case.

I sent my mom on 4/21 and not news yet sad.png I called last week and talked to a supervisor and she said that is taking 8 months so hopefully we can hear good news before new year

What if the beneficiary does not use email and does not have an email address? Can I email the forms from one of my email addresses? I intend to put this address on the forms as my mom's. I don't suppose it would be any different than me creating a new email account for my mom and still only using it myself.

Hi Friends

I have filed IR-5 for my mother in April 2013, and the same was approved on December 13th 2013. the online status says post decision activity. Now I have no clue what to expect next. what should I do and what papers and forms should I keep ready, and if my mother back in India need to collect any forms or paper work from her end?
