Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

Wow!!!! Kerran, you too!!!!! Thats awesome! What an spectacular day!!! Mrsartis, your turn its just coming!! Everyone, dont lose hope! You are not too far behind. Keep checking your status!

Its has been the best day of my life by far! I think the only thing that can top it is when I have my first child! =) Congrats to all, and to the ones still waiting, dont lose your hope!

Now, I am a little lost.. trying to find out what to do next.. I have been reading and found out about a waiting list for visas.. but then read that immediate relatives are not put in a waiting list.. Can anyone help me? What happens now? What is the next step?

My Dad's I-130 Journey:

  • 02/25/2013 - Check cashed
  • 02/25/2013 - NOA1 Received
  • 10/17/2013 - Case transferred to Nebraska Service Center

Wow!!!! Kerran, you too!!!!! Thats awesome! What an spectacular day!!! Mrsartis, your turn its just coming!! Everyone, dont lose hope! You are not too far behind. Keep checking your status!

Its has been the best day of my life by far! I think the only thing that can top it is when I have my first child! =) Congrats to all, and to the ones still waiting, dont lose your hope!

Now, I am a little lost.. trying to find out what to do next.. I have been reading and found out about a waiting list for visas.. but then read that immediate relatives are not put in a waiting list.. Can anyone help me? What happens now? What is the next step?

I'm ecstatic!!!! I'm trying to find the next steps too.

mrsartis, my status changed online and received an email from USCIS with the approval also saying I should be receiving a letter soon.

"Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On November 13, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results

listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current
