I am confused. When I check the status online via www.uscis.gov it says "to your local USCIS Office for further processing."

I got the transfer yesterday and it says it was transferred to Texas Service Center.

Can anybody explain this to me please?

I got the same thing, it says Texas, just weird. You would think it will be transferred to somewhere close, say CSC?

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

I just wish they would send me the approval notice that quickly!

Hi , I'm new in this forum . I submitted my mom petition on 4/21/13 but she is inside of USA already received her work permit but like all of you guys this waiting is killing us :( . Anyone know how long take this process if you parent is in USA already she came with a visa and all her process started while she have her 6 months permission to stayed in the country. Thanks in advance and wishing everybody good luck

For those whose file was transferred to the Nebraska Service Center, they are just now processing files from October 1, 2012.

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21 - October 1, 2012

If we are 4 months behind, and normally an application takes 6-8 months, then we are looking at a 1 year wait. There is hope! lol

For those whose file was transferred to the Nebraska Service Center, they are just now processing files from October 1, 2012.

If we are 4 months behind, and normally an application takes 6-8 months, then we are looking at a 1 year wait. There is hope! lol

Even though it says that they sent us a paper saying to call after 60 days if we don't heae anything. That's 2 months, right before christmas.
