So we can actually call for an appointment? I thought that's only good for K1s. hmmm....

But, congratulations :)

I did not call. I went to the US Embassy Manila website, registered my parents, then chose the date of their interview. It was originally Aug 8 but I anticipated that their cases may not get completed and forwarded in time so I postponed it to Aug 15.

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

I am still waiting for mine. It seems that my embassy is taking more than a month to set our interview.

For those who have done the online scheduling... will my mom still get a hard copy of the interview appointment? Will she or me will get an e-mail of the appointment?

Hi,

So we did the same thing. I believe we still need to confirm with NVC that our cases were sent to USEM. I think we will receive an email from USEM confirming our interview date. I am just worried that they may not be able to see the dates that we chose online and would schedule us for a later date. If ever that happens, I will simply call their appointment system and cancel what they have scheduled and keep the one that we personally made online.

As long as we have the confirmation with the UID barcode, that appointment date should be valid.

July 20: Mailed I-130 for both parents.

July 22: NOA 1 Priority Date

July 28: Received NOA1 in mail.

Congratulations! You can always call your US Embassy and request for an earlier date.

USCIS approved on July 14th. Been checking NVC phone system but nothing.

Called the operator and was told they just received the cases yesterday, so it is not in a system yet.

When do I actually email the D3032 form to assign agent, can I do that now, or do I need to wait.

Also, does the email address have to be from beneficiary or petitioner?

Since they just received your cases yesterday, call again in two days or so. As soon as you have your case number call back again and speak to an operator so you can provide them your email addresses for both beneficiary and petitioner.

So once the case number is assigned at NVC I can -

Call them to tell them what the beneficiary email address is?

Or can I just email from the beneficiary email address with agent of choice letter?

Basically do they need to know the email address in advance before agent of choice can be emailed, or is that two separate issues?
