Just ask them if they can help u to look up ur case. Where is ur papers, its been more than 6 months.

everyone, they are telling us different things.. i called yesterday and they told me that because of the backlogged, I-130 now is at 16 months..#######!

#######, ALRIGHT!!!

This is ridiculous! I was really expecting to be finished before this year ends as I truly need my mother to be here.

Now I need a drink!

Spoke to the office of the congressman but they said USCIS is so backed up processing I-130 for parents that it's taking about a year. I could sign a privacy release do they coukd check on my cases but I'm just bummed right now. :-(

Yep! Another 5 months.

Here's what I got from uscis today.

It's not attaching. They basically said it's gonna take another 6 mths due to workload factors.

NVM, I just saw it at USCIS website. It says October 1, 2012. I wonder how long does it take, let's say they process the whole month for a week or 2? then the next month for another week or 2? if that's the case, our paper work will not be seen until 2014
