Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

Just to update you. My parents passed the interview yesterday! yes.gif However, they were required to submit additional documents. blink.png The consular officer said that they will receive the visa via 2GO home delivery in three weeks instead of the usual one/two-week period. I found this info from the US Embassy Manila website:

"During the visa interview, the consular officer determines if additional documents are required to help establish your eligibility for visa issuance. Though additional documents are not statutorily required, applicants should submit secondary documents to help establish their qualifications. When you are asked to provide additional information or supporting documents, your application is generally refused under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. A consular sheet is given to you after the interview indicating the additional documentation you should provide and the procedure for submitting them to the Embassy."

My parents need to get an Advisory on Marriage/Cemar from NSO and update the NBI to include the a.k.a. name since my mom used a different first name when she was single.

This is frustrating, two days ago, I got an email from NVC stating my CC and attached is the interview letter for my mom set on October 3, 2013 at 6:15 am. Then we got all excited coz it has been more than a month since I submitted the IV package. So I instructed my mom to print the interview letter and gather all the necessary requirements. Well I didn't expect that I would get a call from NVC saying that they made a mistake and that I should disregard the interview letter....arrrrgh! I asked him how long should i have to wait and he said there's no definite time....so he hang up and I wanted to make sure so I called NVC to double check. Same thing, they apologize for the mistake and asked me to wait for the interview letter crying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gif

April 19, 2013 - submit the form I-130

April 22, 2013 - Receive the NOA1

July 29, 2013 - Approved NOA2 ( 82 working days)

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Aug 21, 2013 - send the AOS overnight at NVC

Aug 28, 2013 - Accept the DS-3032

Aug 30, 2013 - IV BILL pay and Documents Sent to NVC receive the checklist AOS.

September 19, 2013 Sent back the checklist

September 20, 2013 Sept 26, arrived @ NVC

Sept 30,2013 - already encode to their system

ADVANCE MEDICAL @ St. Luke - SEPTEMBER 23, 2013

CASE COMPLETE AS OF TODAY : OCTOBER 23,2013

NOVEMBER 1 , 2013 -Documents left at NVC - Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center

NOVEMBER 4, 2013 Delivered - Signed for by : CEZAR NARTEA

NOVEMBER 5, 2013 - CEAC Case Creation Date: 13-Aug-2013 Status Updated Date: 05-Nov-2013 Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section.
