Hi Bryn&Allen, when did you file and when is your check encashed and when did you received tyour NOA1? will update your timeline.

Hi, I don't really remember when our check was cashed. But I sent the application Feb. 13, 2013, received NOA1 Feb. 20, 2013.

Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

4/10/2014: ELIS and USCIS status: GREEN CARD PRODUCED/SHIPPED

I call today ask for invoice she said i need to wait 2 weeks? to get the invoice? tru email.

They also told you to wait several weeks for the case number, and you didn't have to. Probably the same with the invoice.

And I have a question.

How early can be visa application form filled out and signed? Do we have to wait for NVC case number? The form is available online, but I suspect each one has its individual bar code, doesn't it?

The problem is, the application cannot (or rather, should not due to certain reasons) be mailed from where my mom lives. I could fill it out and email it to her to print out and sign, and she could send it back to me with a friend who will be coming back to the US in a few weeks (and also bringing me the rest of the documents for NVC). But if we have to wait for the case number andndon't have it by then, the window of opportunity will be missed.

Since the petition has not been approved yet, it is quite possible that might happen.

I guess the same question applies to Choice of Agent, but that form can be emailed as far as I know.
