Ugo's wife, Congrats on the progress of your case. I am somewhat worried on your behalf about the original RFE you snet. You never and USCIS original documents, most times people never get it back. always send copies. NVC is the only stage where your originals are usually required and they always return them at the intyerview. Star making calls and arrangement to have your original sent back to you or included in your file to NVC and follow up at NVC.

Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

I am taking my oath on Feb 13th. I want to submit my mom's petition on the same day if possible.

Questions:

- Will I get my certificate on the day of my oath taking?

- Can I apply for US passport on that same day as well?

Can anybody here help me with a step by step process on what do I need to send on my first packet?

I cant find any list on VJ.

yes you will get your certificate at oath ceremony.

i applied for us passport the next day after my ceremony...had to go to post office to do so.

applied for my mom's visa(ir-5) the next day as well...

does anyone knows where to track processing time for I 130 form filers routed to national benefits center? it's really hard to tell when uscis will give decision since there's no indication for process time in NBC for this type of application.

unfortunately, there is no way to predict NBC approvals...

i even started a topic about this..

it could be 2months or 5months before you get approved. or longer :unsure: its very confusing :wacko:

thanks Roze for your reply. i guess we just have to wait and see til decision is made. by the way there's a quote at the bottom of your reply it says "Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between March 21, 2013 and April 10, 2013", what do you mean by that?

Hi Everyone:

I wanted to share with you guys that I received the checklist from NVC. They are asking for AOS, which I already sent but apparently they have not processed it, and they also asked for pictures. So, I'm glad because all the documents that I sent are OK. We only need the pictures and my mom is working on it.

Anyone know how long it takes for them to complete the case once the pictures are received?

if your AOS packed has been sent in, then its a falsechecklist for it. Case completed comes about 1-2 weeks after they receive/review both packes and no RFE
