Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

My mom already got all the civil documents... the question that I have is the following:

* Does she have to send the pictures or are the pictures taken to the interview?

* Does she have to send my marriage certificates and divorce decree?

Please advice.

Thanks.

The pictures are not required at the NVC level but the marriage certificates and divorce decrees are if your name has changed because of the marriage and the divorce. I've read some consular officer asks for pictures at the interview so make sure that she has them.

I rescheduled my mom's interview from Jan. 8 to Dec. 21 and she got her approval today. She was only asked 2 questions, What is your name and when is your birthday. :dance::dance::dance:

Hi guys! My mom got her visa approval today :dance::dance::dance: She was asked 4 questions: what is your name? Your birthdate? Who is your petitioner? Petitioner's address? And the consul congratulates her, and told her she was approved!. Before that, the Filipino screener asked for our pictures together. That's it!

Please update my timeline. Thank you.

Just FYI, that i recieved RFE for my mother's application because i forgot to send my marriage certificate and they asked for my mom's name change eveidence which i sent them her marriage certificate. I submitted her application on Novemebr 13 and priority date was Nov. 15,recieed NOA1 Nov 20sh then 2 months after i recieved RFE.

I just paid AOS fee on the payment portal. Although it says "payment status in progress", it let me print bar-coded document cover sheet.

Do I need to wait until the payment status changes to paid to mail in AOS package or not?

I paid the AOS fee on a monday & It didn't take long for mine to change to "PAID" the next day (tues). Although, the money wasn't taken out until the following day (wed), two days after I made the payment. Only until then did I mailed my AOS packet.
