so after 6months uscis said they send mail with a denial notice for my dad. what could i have done wrong. i know his name is not on my birth cert. but people had said not to worry about it they will ask for a dna test. that's the way my money goes.

Doesn't the mail tell you why you were denied?

I haven't gotten the mail as yet. I just check USCIS page and the final decision is that they mailed off a denial letter. In the mean time I'm preparing another packet. Just waiting to see what mistake I made on the first one.

:help:

I am prepping my moms I-130 application. I noticed that the date of her Marriage on my Birth Certificate is different on her Marriage Certificate which has the correct date. I know that Parents Marriage Certificate is not necessary for petitioning mother but I do not want this to be a problem later when I start petitioning my father after Mom gets here. Please help I do not know what to do. Should I use the wrong dating on my Birth Cert or use the correct date that my Parents has on the Marriage Cert and send a copy of it with my application?

Thanks!

Your mom's marriage certificate is required since her name has changed after getting married. You can go to your civil registrar to have your birth certificate fixed with the correct date of marriage of your parents. They will then forward the corrected one to NSO. You should use the correct marriage date instead of the wrong one.

My wife's parents arrived in Las Vegas Tuesday. They had POE in Honolulu with no problems but almost missed the flight to Las Vegas because they forgot to change the time from Manila to Honolulu time. They were the last passengers to get on the plane. We never thought to tell them about the time change. Anyway the wait is over now. Good luck to everyone.

Hi Chelsea_dd,

Did you do electronic processing?

My parents case completed yesterday when I called this morning but i didn't receive any email from NVC.

also, when I asked about the interview date, they said dunno yet.

NVC gives out interview dates based on the availability of the embassy where the beneficiary will be interviewed

She asked me for a new co-sponsor since my son is out of the US for a few months into a language course! My co-sponsor earn above the poverty line! For god sake... :crying: plus she kept saying why my son is out of the country...why...why...why..why...and I saying that still he domicile in the US he is just out for a few months!

Got the blue form 221g after 20 minutes of hell...so now is find a new co-sponsor and send some proof that my son domicile in the US!

My son already sent a email to his Congressman to look into the case so is more waiting....  I'm trying to keep cool but!

Hi Benuk, I was away for a while. went to Nigeria for almost two months and back to catch up withVJ. i just came in here to check in on your progress. Hi, I have a question, which I am sure has been answered on this forum many times, but I just can not find any info on it. I would really appreciate any input.

Can anybody please explain in detail what happens after the case is received at NVC? (I am sponsoring my mom). Am I supposed to call NVC to get a case number or just wait for them to mail me package with information? What forms do I need to mail/e-mail them?

Thanks a lot!
