Hello everybody,

I have some progress with my mom's case: the NVC# and IIN was assigned on 04/30, I emailed DS 3032 on 05/02, AOS bill was invoiced and paid on 05/02 and today it shows "PAID". I have to call today for my dad's case because he is not in the system yet. I was told by NVC operator that both cases will be linked together and that I only have to pay AOS fees once (only $88 for both cases). However, I am not sure how I will get the bar-coded coversheet for my dad if I do not have to pay AOS for him????? I will call to find out and will post any updates.

I-130 for both parents sent: 2011-10-10

I-130 NOA1 for both parents: 2011-10-17

Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

Hello everybody,

Best thing to do is call them and ask,I'm very pleased with your progress because give me courage to go on...lol...We are just a few IR-5 here looking after each other is imperative.Hopefully I will get some good news by the middle of this month! :dance: :dance: :dance:

I just get the NVC and IIN for my father, emailed his DS-3032; the IV bill for my mom was also invoiced and paid today. Next step is to send tomorrow the AOS for bot of them together and to waitmy father's Choice of agent to be approved to send IV packages.

Is the bar coded sheet necessary for the DS-3032 or can you send a generic DS-3032 without the barcode on it?

Won't the NVC link the cases for both parents together when you call them?

If you email the DS-3032 then no bar coded sheet is necessary. The email should be send from your parents email address. I am not sure at what point they link cases together, but when you send the AOS put one for each parent in separate envelope and then both envelopes in a bigger one. Also, on the cover sheet for one of the cases (not bar coded but personal one) point out that you have paid only one AOS fee of $88 because your cases are for both of your parents and they should be linked together. You may have to wait until you get NVC and IIN for both parents. This is exactly what I did and what I was advised to do by an NVC operator.

can any one plss guide me the NVC process...i just got approved for my mom on may 04th., do i have to wait for the nvc to send me some thing or i can email them for Email correspondance, plss guide me

Hi Amajid,

Wait about 2-3 weeks after you get approval letter and call NVC (603) 334-0700 to obtain case number. It took them 4 weeks to assign the number for my dad's case =((

Then you can email DS-3032 to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov. From what I have seen so far, they reply with the approval within 4-6 business days.

After it you need to pay AOS bill, send I-864, pay IV bill, and send all necessary documents.

I am not sure how to get AOS and IV bill, I posted the question below, hope someone can help both of us here.

Hello,

Use this link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/365453-nvc-filers-may-2012/, read the first post of Saylin and follow the instructions provided.

Basically, the process is as follows:

1. NVC and IIN assigned; emails of the beneficiary and petitioner provided to NVC

2. Send the DS-3032 email from the beneficiary's email address

3. An email from NVC received confirming NVC and IIN numbers and instructions for AOS bill

4. Log into the payment portal and pay $88 AOS fee whenever become available (usually the same day when NVC email is received); print the bar-coded cover sheet.

5. Wait until the AOS bill appears "PAID" (usually next day)and then send the I-864 form with supporting evidence

6. Once the DS-3032 is approved (you will receive email from NVC), log into payment portal and pay $230 IV bill; print the bar-coded cover sheet.

7. Wait until the IV bill appears "PAID" (usually next day)and then send the DS-230 form

8. Call to check if it is accepted and wait for case to be closed.

9. Interview date assigned.

I-130 for both parents sent: 2011-10-10

I-130 NOA1 for both parents: 2011-10-17

Mom's case:

I-130 NOA2: 2012-03-30

Received at NVC: 2012-04-16

NVC# and IIN: 2012-04-30

DS-3032 emailed: 2012-05-01

AOS bill invoiced and paid: 2012-05-02

AOS bill shows "PAID": 2012-05-03

DS-3032 approved: 2012-05-08

IV bill invoiced/paid: 2012-05-09

I-864 package for both parents sent: 2012-05-10

DS-230 package for both parents sent: 2012-05-16

AOS Checklist for both parents: 2012-05-21; Correction sent: 2012-05-22

DS-230 Checklist for both parents: 2012-05-25; Correction/Documents sent: 2012-06-04

Case complete: 2012-06-12

Interview date assigned:

Dad's case:

I-130 NOA2: 2012-04-06

Received at NVC: 2012-04-16
