Just scheduled an interview for both parents on July 21 at 9:30 am :dance: It's hard to believe this whole process is coming to an end :jest:

R5 Visa for Both of my parents: sent from NY

3- 27 -2013 _________I-130 sent-National Benefit Center

04-11-2013_________NOA1 received

11-15-2013_________ Transferred to another office(Nebraska Service Center)

01-27-2014_________ RFE received

03-10-2014 _________sent more evidence(they lost some documents)

04-25-2014__________NOA2 approved on USCIS website.(waiting for the hard copy)

04-29-2014__________NOA2 received.

6-16-2014___________ received email from NVC with the case number :dancing:

6-19-2014____________ paid AOS bill

7- 28- 2014_____________ sent AOS package :idea:

8-7-2014___________ paid IV fee

Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

my priority date is Jully 8 2014 and on jully 17 I got a message saying that the alien registration was changed ...nothing since then ...waiting oh and the aplication is at the Nebraska Service Center

got interview jitters this early...interview date 08/12/2014...never been as excited as this my whole life.i have waited 9 years for this.....now all i do is make sure everything (documents) is good to go........ :dancing:

Yes you do (I'm assuming you're talking about the proof of citizenship for the household member who filled out the I864a).

Did anyone get letter from NVC about backlog?

I got one last week in regards to MIL's case.

I have seen several people post about getting an email about the backlog. I think it may have stemmed from the system outage the DOS experienced recently.

Oh, I see. I had no idea they had an outage. The email said it may take up to 60 days.

Interview on Aug 12 Approved...four questions asked who is the petitioner,the name of my daughter in law ,how many kids,last time i saw my son...

Today i got my passport with visa delivered to my house....just make sure that NBI is current thats all they asked me for....and good luck on your journey ..mine took 16 months...from USCIS to embassy interview...
