hi Quyana, once an interview is set, the consulate sends you a letter,,concerning the medical, and other documents they might need for your interview. Also you got the right medical clinics, i heard it cost 36,000 naira for a medical exam.

Thanks Ebu,

i thought it will be similar to what i have read on the tread, where people call the clinic and schedule medical appt the moment they receive interview date. Any similarities?

Can someone please help me with the following? I am preparing IV documents for both my parents (DS261 25 June and 27 June).

1. I have only one marriage certificate for my parents. If I send it for my father;s application, can I simply say in my mother;s application that it can be found in documents for case number …. that corresponds to my father?

2. My birth certificate is unavailable. Can the same be done for the unavailability certificate?

3. I am planning to send an affidavit for my birth with the birth certificate unavailability statement from the govt agency. How many affidavits do I need? Can they be from my parents, or do they need to be from somebody else?

Thanks very much!

Hey guys I'm preparing my parents I-130's right now and I have one question. My parents are currently married but it's my father's second marriage. Application asks about prior marriages, so here's my question: do I have to send my father's divorce paperwork or just provide the information? Secondly, he didn't even remember the exact date of his divorce finalization. We only know that it was either Jan or Feb of 1987. Is it gonna be ok if we just say approximate date for example Feb 1987 and send it out like that? I really don't wanna lose the time trying to obtain divorce paperwork overseas. Please advice, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

My mom's flight is booked for August 26. She will be flying into LA. It was the only available non-stop flight from Moscow. I will pick her up at LAX and we will fly back to Tucson together.

Unfortunately my 7-year-old brother was denied a visitor's visa yet again despite of my husband's doctors' letters and the personal intervention by Senator McCain. This is a separate sad story. He'll be staying with my friends back in Russia for a few weeks until my mom can return. Looks like we won't get to meet him for another two years or so.

I am excited about my mom coming anyway, of course. She has waited for a year and a half since I put in the petition. I have not seen her in 6 years.
