This is exactly what I was looking for , thank you.

My father wanted to pay as much fees as possible in local money. I paid the $88 AOS fee online.

For the medical , we already found out the fee which as you mentioned around $100 in local currency.

He has an appointment at the embassy in two weeks, so he will be able to pay the equivalent of $230 in local money.

However he wont be able to pay the $165 in local currency. That would be fine

Last question, I submitted the DS260 4 days ago, how long before I can see the $230 fee online? just in case I ( the petitioner) elect to pay it online.

I wonder if the issue is related to the fact, my case got transferred to be processed locally at the embassy therefore the fee/invoice won't be online

1. After you pay AOS fees online using CEAC website, usually it takes 1 to 10 business days for the IV Fee link to open. It may take longer. I would call NVC and find out why the IV Fee link is not available.

2. If your are able to pay AOS fees online, you should be able pay IV Fee using the same system.

3. It seems like you have mailed DS 260 to the NVC. Usually the DS 260 link get open in the CEAC website, once you paid IV Fees. Filling DS 260 online would accelerate the process.

NVC generated my parent's case no of July 3rd. I got case numbers and IIN the same night from the NVC call. But after that DS-261 is still not available also AOS fees is not invoiced.

I'm super mad right now! They rescheduled my dad's interview for July 31st due to inclement weather!! It's 2 more weeks that I have to endure waiting! This sucks big time! Called the embassy today to see of I can get a soonest time for a rescheduled date and all slots are taken! Just plain frustrated.......

2. Have you ever traveled outside of the country (Jamaica).

Her fingerprints were taken.

She was asked to raise her right hand and asked if everything in her DS260 was the truth.

Then she was told that DHL will contact her to pick up her passport.

She had copies of all civil and AOS docs that were sent to NVC but she was not asked for anything other than her passport and medical.
