You should read NVC wiki http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/478133-nvc-filers-february-2014/ and you will find a lot of answers there.

Yes, you should pay AOS fee and send the supportive AOS documents as soon as you have them ready. Triple check everything before you send it, make sure you put N/A in the blank spots ( people have been getting real stupid checklists). As for IV fee and DS-260, as of right now it takes MUCH longer for the IV fee to be invoiced ( I have being waiting for almost a month so far no news). Good luck ! Hope this helps

You do not need to wait for NVC to reply to your email. Log in to your mother's case and print the cover sheet there for her. Log out. Log in to your dad's case, go to AOS fee ( should show as paid by related case...) and on the bottom there should be options for you to email or to print the cover page. Good luck!

Hello,

I wanted to find out of anyone had a similar experience. My wife and I are beneficiaries of a IR-5 petition filed by our daugther. Until now, our 2 cases have tracked together and they have reached all milestones on the same day. However, just upon NVC case completion, although we both received a case completion email on the same day, my wife's case was held up at NVC for an extra 3 weeks and consequently our interview dates are now 5 weeks apart (July 2 and Aug 7 respectively). NVC advised us to request an expedite to bring my wife's interview closer to mine. In doing so, the US Embassy in Paris is hinting that, even if my interview is held on July 2, I might not get my visa until such time as my wife's interview takes place. Are the 2 cases really that coupled so that they must conclude together or can one spouse receive their visa before the other one? I am questioning whether to further raise the issue next week during my interview or lay low and hope that at least my visa is approved and issued.

Oh wuau I don't understand why would NVC will give your wife a different interview date??? I will suggest to call the USA embassy in your country and ask them if they can put you and your wife on the same day cause you're still married??

You do not need to wait for NVC to reply to your email. Log in to your mother's case and print the cover sheet there for her. Log out. I am glad that I have found this site now I am waiting for my husband's employment letter and we should be pretty ready to file the papers over the weekends. Hopefully I will not need any help for filing. I am trying to read all the comments you guy have written.

As soon as you get the case and invoice number send them the email requesting the expedite service because that information has to be included in the request. And it has to be written by a physician.

Girls, How come I cannot pay my IV bill. I see some of you guys were able to pay the fee couple of days after AOS bill. My IV bill shows $0.00 on the internet. Do I have to call them to activate the online bill account?

Also I have one more question my husband addressed the employment letter to USCIS is it okay? It is a automated letter by the company. I am almost done with the AOS package planning to send in two days fingers crossed

I waited full 30 business days for IV bill to be generated. The days when the IV bill was available in a couple of days are over :crying:

Okay, Girls I called NVC and finally got through. I am going to give answers to my questions so that you guys can benefit from my answers.

1. Letter of Employment-My husband addressed to USCIS - NVC lady said it is okay, but in general you should put " Whom it may concern" , they will accept my husband's letter.. also if you send pay subs you do not need letter I am sending both...

2. Marriage certificate- my marriage certificate- real copy or certified-and real copy of my birth certificate (i will send it with AOS package)

3. I also asked about my IV bill not showing she said it takes 30 days to process DS-261( well might be my case, so I can not speak for every one) wedakA said the same thing earlier :rolleyes:

remember if you are sponsoring both parents: I-864 mother, I-864-father, if you have to file jointly I-864A mother, I-864A father...In any of these form you do not put both of your parents no matter if you see plural forms of immigrants on the form.. example I-864A Mother- part 2. Sponsor's promise you put if are filing for your mother then you put your mother's name...not your mother and Father only your mother's name...
