Finally took a good look at my dad's NOA-1. The case went to TSC. Darn. I've heard they're ridiculously slow...

My mom's passport got out of the consulate and is at the carrier office. Hopefully she'll receive it this week. With the visa:)

What they mean to say is that you need booster shots. So yeah some vaccines require 2-.3 doses with a gap of 6-12 months. You might need booster shots.

I have a petition for my mom now at nvc, I just sent the IV documents, I have a question regarding her birth certificate, it's the original long BC but her fathers name is not on it. Does anyone know or had a similar situation if I would get a checklist for that? Her father is not even alive anymore, so I hope not.

This is from another forum that someone wrote...... Heard it works well, you might have to play with the dates a lil.

now we seen its completed in 2oth but we searched in 19th yes because they schedule shipping day before so DHL know in advance when they will ship it so day before will be your exact day for NVC shipping your case to your embassy

i tried it this way and worked but i found 2 cases to cairo so which one is mine dosent matter as along as i can keep an eye on it for sure the month will be changing just the example above for explanation

My parents had their interview this morning in London and were approved Finally after 15 months, we are done. I will post a detailed review when I Skype with them this weekend, but they were asked the following:

Who I was

Where I lived

What did I do

When they were planning to go to the US

Where they were going to live when they got there

My Mum was also asked a trick question asking if she had been to Colorado before as there was someone there with her maiden name. Weird question to ask but she answered no and told the immigration person that you can't catch me out, lol!

Thank you to everyone who has helped me with questions along the way, especially Saylin and D-Wheels. I couldn't have got through all the paperwork without all your expert advice. To anyone else that is still waiting, keep the faith and you will be reunited with your family soon

Thank you Neka. Btw how long did it take in your case to actually receive interview email and when was it actually sent out from NVC? I guess based on the difference in days I will start checking mine too.

Yes, they took their passports and the CEAC status shows that they are in administrative processing as of today, so it will probably be a week or so before they have their passports mailed back to them with the visa in them.
