One slight correction,, you need 2013, 2012 and 2011 tax information.

Okay.. question about the IV documents. As the petitioner they are asking for certified or original copies of my birth certificate and marriage certificates. Do we get these documents back? I am only allowed to have one certified copy of my birth certificate at any given time (I'm Canadian born). If I order an additional copy, it will invalidate the one that I'm currently holding. And I don't even have a copy of my first marriage certificate - I'm divorced from my first husband. Hmmm...

Kerran, I have a question for you: What documents did you mom take to the interview? I received a list of things my father has to take which is not much, however it says most updated tax return forms.

Would you mind telling me what your mother took to the interview? Was the interview after the April tax filing date? Did she take the updated taxes?

She only took her medical and the visa application confirmation page along with her passport of course.

Her interview was before the end filing date so they did not ask for the most recent (2013) tax papers. I can understand why they are asking for it now though since everyone should've already filed and received their tax returns.
