I have been toying with the idea that they updated it in the system on 05/09/2014 when they entered my AOS docs but since the reps have no way to see what are in the packets they don't realize it is two packets entered. I hope that is what it is because those are original documents and it would not be easy to get them together again. I'll be calling them tonight again to see if by some stroke of luck they have been entered.

I'm sure you will get update soon,just keep checking your email, If they said they got your package then your good. I also sent 2 pockets in 1 time the AOS and supporting documents of my mom. I know how it feels,I hate waiting game.I never get tired calling them almost everyday.lol...

Did anyone have trouble paying AOS fee? Whenever I choose it and click Pay Selected Fees the total amount just changes to $0.00 and doesn't go through

I would suggest checking back later or tomorrow. They could just be preparing the invoice.

I dont understand that in some cases when the interview has been approved and the applications has been given approval letter at the interview, then why does it take several weeks to even months to get the visa in mail. Sometimes t only takes a week and in some cases I have herd people waiting for months even though they were told the visa was approved. This just doesn't add up.

By the way age group of parents, 65 and above, do I need to worry about that? I am just thinking from the point of veew of person taking the interview. As long as the medical is good, then it shouldnt matter right? Maybe I am just getting paranioid.

hate this damn nvc ppl. Instead of reviewing the certified documents, they review the copy documents and then stating it's not certified. I should have never made a copy for them. They will get confuse cuz they can't read.. Still disputing with nvc on a second checklist (no certified doc)...

If you are using your 1040 then you need to submit all W2, 1099s etc. According the information on the I864 instructions you are not required to send W2s etc, if you are submitting your IRS tax transcript. Some people still recommend it but I didn't sent it since I used IRS tax transcript (My AOS is in review so I can't say whether or not it makes the difference), but according to the instructions it is not needed.

Looks like I will be joining the game again, this time with my dad. I'll add the timeline as soon as I submit the paperwork to USCIS.

What do you do to expedite the petition ? Do I have to make an Infopass appointment after they give me the case number, or is a phone call/email sufficient? And will they expedite based on the health issues not of the beneficiary, but the petitioner's family member (my husband)? I have his doctor's letters as proof.

My dad applied for visitor's visa this week so he can come help me when my husband goes into his several surgeries and more chemo, but got denied in spite of having a wife and two little children who would be staying in Russia. The consulate did not even look at the doctor's letters.

We figured it was time to try and get together permanently, which will add the issue of bringing my stepmom and my half-siblings here. I'll probably never ever be done with USCIS and DoS!

I also still have no idea when my mom will be coming, so it's kinda disconcerting. My dad was supposed to come before my mom.

Sorry to hear that Okflyboy. My mom had cancer and we had a doctor's letter. I applied for expedite at Nebraska Service Center and they refused me so I definitely know how you feel. I am very mad but pray that we will pass this step soon. It is unfair but the system is unfair anyway. Any January 2014 petition got approved at NSC? Good luck guys!

I requested an expedite for both parents but never got a response. Both cases were approved super quick so I am assuming they were expedited although I never got an official approve/disapprove letter. I just faxed them a letter and some proof/evidence info as to for what reason I was requesting an expedite. Good luck with everything!

yes send it along with the civil documents later on.. original ones or certified true copies..

Well the only thing I cant tell you about filing to expediate your case is another form along with the I-130 and pay an extra $1000 I think .... or maybe its $1050. I was considering in my case but when I found out the cost, I kinda like backed out. Normally it shouldnt take 5-6 months for I-130 but it took like 9.5 painful months. so about 7th or 8th month, I thought about filing to expediate the cases.
