Awesome. Defintley a good news. Anything that takes you closer to the interview date and then approval officurse is always a good news.

Btw looking at your timeline.... th every last document you sent to NVC was on 23rd and on 24th they complted your case. Just wondering was ti really that quick? Normally they take 2 weeks and if someone is lucky its a less than 2 weeks but it seems like in your case they received the packaet, opened it and just clicked ... case complete

I am just looking at my case. For both my cases they have to review only one ducment..... literally only one. Everything else as been reviewed.

Actually I didn't need to respond to the checklist issued as it was their screw-up not being able to find the documents/asking for documents not needed and they replied faster to my email that I sent to request immediate action, than I figured. I sent the document to cover my bases. From originally mailing in the civil documents, it took 3 weeks to get case complete.

Until now I got no checklist or anything besides email on what to be paid. Paid all fee and mail in AOS/IV Package. Even before mailing those package, i never get anything on what to mail out. Lucky i have VJ's members. Now that the package was scanned 4/22, i still got nothing..Call nvc and all i heard was 30 days waiting period. What's going on?

Is everyone getting checklist by email or mail?

Checklists are sent via EMAIL and yes it will take 20-30 business days for NVC to review your AOS and IV packages.

If you have signed up for DS261 than all the communication is via email. Every time you send something, they ask to wait 20 business days but I feel like if you give them atleast 10 business days or 2 weeks, you get some sort if update.

Thanks Collie. My initial wait was about 2.5-3 weeks when I sent my civil documents. But I am hoping that since now all they have to review is just one document, it shouldnt take them that long.

Btw I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this but people who are working in the evening at NVC are much nicer and easier to deal with (for the most part) than the ones in the morning. For the most part when I call around 5pm eastern time, they are willing to talk to you and give you more detail in a very pleasant manner.

Call NVC today, 5/7/2014. both parents AOS are correct. Now still waiting for IV Package (civil doc) to be review.

Just keep calling them - it is taking about 3 weeks to review packets on average. My checklist came via verbal and email.

Yep, just got an update that both parents AOS are good to go . Rep told me to wait a few days for IV package status. I guess the checklist is if we're missing something then will get it or else we're just wait for case to close.

Awesome! you are nearly there now

Quickie update - I checked the CEAC website and the status shows as "Ready" and according to DHL, the packets arrived at the embassy in London this morning

Hi Collie. Do they automatically provide you with DHL or any other courier tracking number once they ship the packet to the embassy or is that case by case basis or country dependent?

• AOS bar-coded cover sheet
• Form I-864 (signed and dated)
• 2013 Tax Transcript with W2
• 2012 Tax Transcript with W2
• 2011 Tax Transcript with W2
• Online Employment Verification from https://www.theworknumber.com --> only if your company participate in it.
• 4 months of pay stubs
• Copy US Citizenship Certificate

• Co-sponsor (if needed)

• AOS bar-coded cover sheet
• Form I-864A (signed and dated)
• 2013 Tax Transcript with W2
• 2012 Tax Transcript with W2
• 2011 Tax Transcript with W2
• Letter of Employment
• 4 months of pay stubs
• Photocopy of Marriage Certificate <-- if your spouse is a co-sponsor
