Called NVC tonight and finally got case number and IIN. Per the agent they will email further instructions, hopefully by Monday I will receive some instructions. Either way i'm excited that the process is moving, still waiting for my mom to mail me the documents tho.

can any of ya'll please confirm the marriage certificate to be included in the IV documents, only ONE is needed??

I just pm'ed you but for anyone else reading, I figured I would put an answer here too. Technically yes, only one original marriage certificate is needed for both the petitioner and beneficiary, but I got check-listed as they didn't bother to look at the opposite parent's case. Now if I was to submit that packet all over again, to be safe I would include a certified copy with each packet, so that they don't have to go looking. Chances are that you may have a different person that is reviewing each case number, especially if the case numbers are not numerically sequential.

Hi all, I am not new to this forum but I still don't know how to use it well. Like you all I am reading posts to help me file my parents pettioning. Thanks to Saylin help I was able to sent I-130 . I sent I-130 at the end of March, 2013, well I don't remember the exact date since it had been over a year. Keeping long story short my parents finally got approved NOA2 April 25, 2014. I am still wating for the hard copy. I saw the approve date of NOA2 from USCIS web site. I don't know how to make time line but I will put my timeline below if anyone can help me to update my timeline I would appreciated. Thank you in advance :-)

For Both of my parents: sent from NY

3- -2013 _________I-130 sent( I do not remember the date but it should be at the end of March)-National Benefit Center

04-02-2013_________NOA1 received

11-15-2013_________ Transfered to another office(Nebraska Service Center)

01-27-2014_________ RFE received

03-10-2014 _________sent more evidence(they lost some documents)

04-25-2014__________NOA2 approved on USCIS website.(waiting for the hard copy)

Very quick question... do i need to submit any additional documents with my tax return, interest statements or anything like that? (AOS documents), or just the return and the W2?

God , I just received hard copy of my NOA2 in hand. Just got it fresh from mail box. For NVC it says in the paper I have to wait minimum 30 days..
