Got a news from my friend that her mom fail the interview, They said no DNA document so they don't believe that it's mom and daughter. So, I call my parents to go do DNA testing and I will do the same.

Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

Did she not have a birth certificate showing that her mom is really her mom?? I could understand DNA for a father but a mother?? strange!!!

That was a typo. You're correct It should say I-864 and I-864A.

That's strange , so the evidence of relation (birth cert) wasn't enough or did it not have the mother's name on it.

Ok cool. I'm not using a joint sponsor so I guess that the I don't have to send my naturalization cert or passport.

The Police Cert takes 21 days unless you expedite...my mom is picking hers up on 04/22/2014 and will be using that new international EMS service that they have in JA now to send all the docs to me.

My MIL is getting hers back around that time too. I'll have her check out that EMS service instead of Fedex

Yeah I was looking up the fastest cheapest way for my mom to get the docs to me. I'm not sure what state you are in or what Parish you MIL is in. But I found it online http://www.jamaicapost.gov.jm/mailing_products_and_services/ems.htm

I'm from St. Catherine and I had my mom check with the post office in our area...it is $1500 JA to send the docs and it arrives in 3-5 business days.

yes they all have original birth certificate and still not enough. All name of mom and daughter birth Cert are the same and match. her mom is now in her 70ish

Just to be on the safe side, i ask my parents (mom/dad) to do the DNA certificate. And i will do it too. But not sure where. I will ask my family doctor

That sucks that you have to go thru the additional expense to prove your parents are your parents when your BC say they are!!.

I know I ask this before but now I can't find it. I'm doing the I-130 for my mom and dad. I know that both party need their own I-864. On the I-864 Part 3 Question #1 and #2. On question #1, do i check Yes or No? my husband is a co-sponsor (I-864a). What about question #2? My dad and mom will come together.

Do you put all CAP word or Nomal when filling out the form?

I have 2 kids but my husband had 1 kid from his ex. The child is staying with us full-time. On my I-864, do i put 3 kid or 2 kid. I know my husband will put 3 kids.

What was the cost of the Medical exam in Jamaica?? Did you mom have to get any shots?? My mom can not locate her immunization record and she is over 65, i know she will probably need shots.

Yeah I was looking up the fastest cheapest way for my mom to get the docs to me. I'm not sure what state you are in or what Parish you MIL is in. But I found it online http://www.jamaicapost.gov.jm/mailing_products_and_services/ems.htm

I'm from St. Catherine and I had my mom check with the post office in our area...it is $1500 JA to send the docs and it arrives in 3-5 business days.

I'll check it out. Thanks! My MIL is in Trelawny.

It's US$120 for the medical and shots may bring it to about US$250 or more in total. My mom didn't have her immunization records either so I told her to go to a clinic to get it.
