Ndu26 your timeline is AMAZING..how did you manage? Any tips?

IMust be God!!! once I knew what was required for the case I tried to plan next move way ahead. while waiting for NOA 2 to complete I asked my mom to get her documents ready birth cert etc..she did not have any birthcert due to period of her birth and war going on then. I had mailed her the Ds-230 forms which she signed with blue ink( I almost died when I saw this but it worked out well cos I later hear on VJ some peope get RFE cos NVC thinks the black ink is a photocopied signature.

anyway she got those and we were lucky to have someone coming into the U.S who brought the documents to me while waiting for NVC case number.. we missed giving the person her police report so that delayed the case for some time since it had to get to me by snow mail from africa( that is the gap you see between me paying the IV bill and mailing my AOS/DS-230 documents).

I used email most of the times to contact NVC abt case status; I believe every email answered makes them look for the file and attend to it, if there is no reason for holding ip up (I may be wrong).

I used IRS transcript ( The one I ordered online;11/21/2011) was taking forever so I walked into their local office and picked three year transcripts ( even though I needed just one, but you never know). did not want to use copy of personal tax return cos it means more paper work to send with it ( W2s, 1099 etc) and chances of RFE if I dnt get it right. my online order came the afternoon after I sent off my documents.

I carefully typed a personal cover letter (got the template from VJs Wiki section) explaining all the documents (Originals accompanied by copies) that was being sent, i nthe order that I packed them and at the end I stated I would be glad if my case is "attended to at their earliest convenience). Maybe the personal letter helped whoever reveiwed the documents to locate them quickly.

also I had to refarin my self from sending my AOS alone even though it was ready way before my DS-230 package( this is because I read on VJ some people getting false RFE for DS-230 when they mail AOS alone or vice versa). these RFE;s even though false adds few days delay to ones case.

dnt know if any of these helped but that was all I did.

hello guys hope everything went well here..

had another question again..my parents will have their interview on dec 28 @ manila embassy..and i wanna know if what kinds of documents they need to bring aside of the appointments letter and passport?

if they have pictures of you and them spaning period of years ( a couple of those will do, that way no cranky CO will send them for DNA which is more months of processing), couple of phone records just in case medical report, copy of your passport page with stamps in and out of phillippines ( if you have it).

Pretty much you was on the TOP OF THE GAME....very impressive! Now you said that you sent all transcripts for you I-864?? and you didn't send AOS and DS-230 together?Did you wait for the DS 3032 or sent a email like showed here on VJ?
