yes after 2/3 days of paying the $88 AOS fee, it should show 'in process' to 'paid'

mine says PAID.

Hi there,

I wasn't referring to the AOS payment status which as you said shows " paid" now.

I was actually asking about the status of " AOS 864 documents receipt " and/or if "AOS 864 documents being processed "

I mailed them 3 days ago

06-20-13 Dad's I 130 sent

06-25-13 NOA1 received

12-26-13 Notice Via Email and Texts petition transfered to Nebraska

01-20-14 Expedite with Nebraska

02-06-14 Text message NOA2 approved , waiting on hard copy

02-06-14 Email from USCIS , my file was transferred to NVC

02-10-14 NOA2 received

02-15-14 still waiting on case number from NVC

02-19-14 NVC received package from USCIS

02-19-14 I applied for expedite process with NVC

03-03-14 NVC assigned case and invoice number, but I am unable to log in

03-04-14 Able to log in. Completed father's DS 261

03-05-14 AOS fee available to be paid. I paid it online.

Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

no I only filled out DS-261 (choice of agent) online. When do we get to fill out DS-260??

Also, collie, did you get the ACRO UK police certificates for your parents in UK that you included in your I-864 packet to NVC (along with other supporting documents)???

Hi, the police certs will go with the IV packet. I-864 is just the financial records like pay stubs/IRS tax transcripts. The police certs are ACPO certificates if that helps any :)

November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

Yeh, I'm delayed with that part, i have to print and mail to mum and dad and they will mail it with their support docs for the ACPO. I didn't think it applied to parents who are british citizens like yours and mine. but oh well.

Did you send your certified copy of your British birth certificate along with your parents original birth and marriage certificate?

I have yet to send all my civil documents but I have my parents birth/marriage certs and my birth/marriage cert all ready to go. Just waiting for photos to arrive with me as they sent the wrong size originally.

Called NVC said expired passport is not acceptable

so renew it, once you get the new one, photocopy and send to NVC

I have yet to send all my civil documents but I have my parents birth/marriage certs and my birth/marriage cert all ready to go. Just waiting for photos to arrive with me as they sent the wrong size originally.

oh sorry I thought you already had. but the certs you have and are sending are all ORIGINALS, right?

yes, they are all originals, except for my marriage certificate which is a certified copy as I am tired of taking it in and out of the frame that its in, so I ordered 2 certified copies ;)

Hi,

I will be doing all the paperwork for my parents. So far I have all certify documents such as boh parents birth certificate, parents marriage certificate, police record, passport front page, 2 of each parents passport photo.

1) Do I need Medical certificate for both parents too.?

2) And all these document will be sent to NVC?

Did you call NVC...or there is actually an update to the web portal that mentions it to you ?
