Aw, congratulations!!!! (post so me pics, we want to see that little peanut!)

The reason I was asking is that NVC forwarded the papers of my mom already but I don't know how to track the package if it was delivered already or not.

When I called to ask if how am I going to be notified for mom's interview, that USEM-Manila, will. I don't know if by email or by phone or they will call mom or not.. I have no idea.

I tracked my mom's case using DHL website. Go to Express tracking then select track by shipper's reference, enter EXP 25 FEB 2014A (Change the date according to when nvc shipped the case), enter the date range then choose your country and search.

I was planning on waiting about a week or so to call the embassy but they called her instead so I'm not sure how it will work for your mom.

Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

I've been in the hospital giving birth and haven't been on my laptop to update my timeline.

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

I completed my 864 today. There was NO barcode associated with my form, I am not sure if it is because I have a Mac and not a PC.

Anyway I did put my "AOS Payment Cover Sheet " on top of my file, hopefully it will help the process .

I wouldn't know how it goes from where your mom is coming from; but those of us from African village, we will be sure that she will bring native local condiments/spices/food...be sure of spicy soup, morning and night...lol.

You are right that there is no barcode for I-864, the cover sheet is what you send with it.

Hello, Sorry I just came back and was busy from work. Just to give updates on my side. I got RFE on the 26th of February due to some civil documents needed to be certified copy. ( i sent copies but i guess it wasn't good enough) the next day 27th of February, I sent the corrected documents to NVC and was received by them on the 3rd of March (according to the tracking information of USPS). Few minutes ago I called NVC and asked for updates about my case, and was told by NVC rep that they have not received the documents yet. I said it was delivered to NVC on March 3rd 2014, she put me on hold and gave me the " you have to wait 30 business days to review the case" I said the case is expedited, and I sent the documents to the PI supervisor, but she still said wait 30 days.

It looks like we are on the same time line, but I am now delayed for unknown reason cray5ol.gifcray5ol.gif

any suggestions/advice on what to do? Thanks.
