Its probably because your beneficiary is in the Ukraine. I believe due to the unrest they are expediting cases now. Did you request an official expedite? If not, you should and I bet it will be approved and you will be able to whizz through the process quickly.

You have to email them and send proof, or in your case just explain, I suppose. Everybody knows what's going on in your country.

Not sure about all consulates, but the Moscow embassy website has an option to pick an interview date. You might wanna check your consulate website.

Does anyone know if there is any way I can request official expedite for a sibling due to the current situation in Ukraine? If my research is correct it normally takes 12 years for siblings to get their visa and unfortunately I can not wait 12 years at this point... Any advise/suggestion as of what my Ukrainian brother or/and I could/should apply for is greatly appreciated! Super concerned about my family right now...

A month? That's a long time for it not to be available. I'd call NVC. Did you submit AOS papers?

I'd be concerned too if I were you. I'd write a letter to NVC explaining the situation and your reason for the request to expedite. No harm in trying. All the best.

You can expedite USCIS and NVC processes, but the Visa availability? I'm afraid not. Ten years out of 12 is waiting for the visa number to become available for a sibling. You can't change the quota.

You can try and have them apply for humanitarian parole maybe... Or for a visitor's visa and then ask for asylum. No guarantees though. A Ukrainian friend of mine has been trying to get asylum in the US for 10 years and thousands of dollars. Granted, there was no war when he left the Ukraine, but he was prosecuted for his religious beliefs there. Denied multiple times.

If you use the pay stub you don't need the employment letter, unless you think it will make a difference to NVC.

The naturalization paper is not required for IV docs. All my submitted docs were accepted. Here's the link that tells you what to send to NVC.
