You might wanna call NVC today, I called them today and got my parents case#'s and IIN..

So I guess NVC told me was about right, 8wks, Based on your timeline it's about 7weeks. 1/6 - 2/23

I did call... - twice! still no case number but geeze it has to be soon. I see people left right and center whose petition was received the same day as mine and even after mine. Arghhh I'm very fractious today because I feel that it is coming soon.

sorry to hear that.... try again tomorrow.. i have the case # but they have not billed me yet so still waiting to pay the AOS...

Do you mean that you put the wrong figures where it states total income for the tax years or for the current income in part 6 - question 5. My taxes were filed married filing jointly and states hubby and my income as one figure, so I assume that's what should be put in that box? My transcripts don't list what my individual income was for those years so I was going to include individual W2's - are you including W2's with your package?

The mistake is I put the total income per computer under the year 2012 and the correct figures are the total adjusted gross income per computer. They are not the same figures in our 2012 transcript. I didn't have to include W2's in my AOS package because, my husband is self-employed. I just sent our transcripts, and letter of employment, stating that he owns the business.

Called NVC today who said my mom's case was completed 02/24 and will be sent to embassy on Friday. As for my MIL, that's gonna be a while longer.

Ladies, how did you request expedite processing from NVC? Is a phone call enough? Do they require physical proof of the circumstance, by mail or email?

Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee We have case numbers and IIN!! I'm so excited to hear this! I knew as soon as she asked me for the beneficiary's name and DOB that we did. I was still shocked and forgot the years they were born and had to look them up! One thing that I learned was that my parents will not interview in London as we had thought. They will interview at the embassy in Dublin. I now have to look up all the details for the Dublin embassy including where they now need to do their medical.

arghhhh stupid immigration IDIOTS! They assigned wrong case numbers thinking that they should be assigned to Dublin, Ireland and they should be London as my parents live in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK and not Ireland. I swear some of these people should NOT be working there.

My moms case too it had dominican republic not manila. She never went there. It prolonged my wait if i didnt catch it when it was assigned.

You cannot call NVC for expedite service. Like you already thought, you have to have a medical or life-threatening condition (like the typhoon in the Philippines) and proof of it to request that service. This you have to submit to NVC by email. I got a letter from my doctor with my medical problems and why I need my mother here ASAP.

I printed the W-2s from my husband's company website so I'm not sure if that counts as original but they accepted it. I used transcripts that I photocopied from the ones IRS sent. I don't think it matters whether those things are photocopied or not.

Legal docs such as birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc. are the ones that need to be original.

They are fixing it but said it could be up to 30 days before it is changed. She said that I could still go ahead with processing and would still be invoiced in a few days for the AOS, but who knows if that's true or not..
