When filling out the AOS, did you put N/A or leave a blank space if something didn't apply to you?

Also, it makes no sense on the very 1st question where there is a blank space which I presume is for the petitioners name, followed by am. Grammatically speaking, shouldn't it be "Joe Bloggs" is the sponsor submitting this AOS because I am the petitioner?

You put "I" before your name":)

I left those blank. The instructions actually say "leave those spaces blank".

My mother tried to get an NBI police clearance from the Phlippines and they said there is another person with the same name as hers and has to wait til the 14th to get it.

My question is, she recently got an NBI clearance when she renewed her passport but that has the purpose I think it states that it is for passport purposes.

Can she use that NBI Clearance that she has right now or wait until the 14th?

I am not sure either. If you use the one with the "passport purpose", you might just get an email asking you to send the one with the "travel purpose," or they might accept it. But if you wait and get that NBI clearance on the 14th, I'm sure that you will not have a problem. I know though that the Manila US embassy is strict with that, the NBI clearance has to be of that "Travel Purpose."

Well, nobody really knows. Some people got approved after 3 months and many of us got approved after 8 months. Few people I know though got approved after a year. Good luck

My NOA2 just got approved 2-6-14, I would like to ask two questions .

1- I expedited my application 2 weeks ago , therefore my NOA1 stayed only 6 weeks in NSC . Will they expedite sending my file to NVC ?

2- I dont have all the civli documents ( for my dad ) , however I would like to do 864 first. Then ship the civil documents later with form 260 . Is that ok?

I just want to process 864 as soon as possible, any thoughts on these 2 points.

Because I see there is no consistency in how long it takes to reach "NVC"

I kept dialing and got the busy signal about 3 times until I got the automatic message and put me in a waiting period. I waited about 5 min or so until I talked to someone. I would say keep trying over and over. Good luck!

I applied on January 14th, 2014 and still waiting. I hope USCIS will keep their words and change I-130 processing time to 5 months by May 2014. Good luck.
